"Children's books are slowly becoming one of my favorite genres. What better way to teach life-long lessons than to bring story and color to our babies!" - Felecia Killings
Parents, there are so many challenges we face. We do everything we can to keep a roof over our children's head. We feed and clothe them. We ensure they receive the best education our money can provide.
But how many of us pay attention to the sicknesses and germs our children are exposed to on a daily basis? Do we teach our babies important hygiene rituals that can ward off common illnesses?
If not, then it's time to start now; and that's why The Foundation is so pleased to partner with Author Avalon Brown, a registered nurse who knows how vital it is to teach children about germs and how to avoid them.
In her adorable children's book, the child protagonist must battle the evil Cold. As she questions why this thing is on her, she learns that she can battle this sickness by doing simple tasks.
This new book could not have come at a better time. With the recent increase in plague-related illnesses, we must teach our babies to maintain their own health by washing their hands and cleaning after themselves. Not only is it good for their own bodies, but such efforts help to protect the entire community.
Beloved, I encourage you to connect directly with Author Avalon. If you have questions about teaching your child about cleanliness, she will be happy to share her knowledge with you.
