Chi Brown is a commentator and Black conservative who, just several years ago, voted for Barack Obama. Republicans, according to everyone within Chi’s circle, were terrible people.
Growing up in the least conservative city in the state of North Carolina and being raised by a very left-leaning mother, Brown's gradual shift to conservatism came as a surprise to most of his family and peers.
Having a firm grasp of much of the leftist rhetoric and talking points, Chi began to see certain flaws with many of the arguments, particularly on the topic of race. After doing a bit more research, and opening himself up to a few conservative arguments, he began to realize that much of the rhetoric from the left was simply incorrect.
Later, after witnessing several of his peers continue to hold on to a destructive culture that Chi had decided to try and walk away from, he decided to write and discuss many of the issues he saw as problematic on YouTube.
His original show was called "For Change Movement" and was actually produced while Brown was still moderately left-leaning. Only on the topic of race did his arguments tend to lean toward the right. But gradually, as he did more research, he realized that he was a conservative and decided to create the web series, "Consider Culture."

It was the spring of 1970 in the heart of segregated Alabama when Michael Harris' journey began. He was born in Tuscaloosa and raised in a one-bedroom, no-bathroom home that was shared with 15 other family members.
He never had his own room, never had his own bed; but he learned to reverence God, to cherish family, to value love, to work hard, and to seek truth at all cost.
Associates degree in hand, he worked as an Engineering Technician for a major Military and Aerospace Division of a major semi-conductor plant where quality assurance was my responsibility for several years. A tragic car accident caused major setbacks and a period of great pain and loss; but in the end, this tragedy birthed a new appreciation of life.
After losing everything, and getting it all back by God's grace (and THEN some), Harris is now a self-employed Realtor of over 8 years; but most importantly, he is a Christian, a father, an American, a conservative, and Black.
