Welcome to another Empowering Post for Christian Writerpreneurs.
I am Felecia Killings, award-winning coach and Founder of the Christian Writerpreneurs Movement. Our mission is to empower you for effective work as a new author and speaker, helping you build a business or ministry around your authorship.
Each week, I share a FREE empowering lesson that helps you better understand the science behind your new career as a professional author or speaker. These teachings pull directly from our award-winning online school, LiyahAmore University.
And each lesson provides you a small taste of what you can experience when you become an official scholar.
For today's lesson, I want to touch upon a crucial element in the self-publishing industry. Quite often, when new writers enter the field, they jump into this venture head-first. They construct their manuscript without real guidance; and they fail to consider important factors that can help them avoid costly mistakes in the near future.
One of the most crucial elements includes finding the right editor for your manuscript. It's important to know that not all editors and proofreaders are the same. Some are skilled in certain areas, and within The Felecia Killings Foundation, we've worked to connect you with experts who specialize in the self-help, Christian publishing industry.
This leads me into my special announcement for today. This week, my featured guest expert is Leanne Wickham. She is a professional copy editor and proofreader stationed in New Zealand. And she has recently partnered with our brand to bring you the best editing services in the market.
Towards the end of this lesson, you will have a chance to connect with her directly for all your editing needs; and as you will come to learn in this Empowering Post, having the right editor on your self-publishing team will make all the difference in the world.
So, without further delay, let's spend some time discussing the importance of hiring the right editor. In this lesson, I will teach you to know the difference between various editorial services and how each phase works to help you produce a polished product.
Now, let's get started!
Greetings, Beloved, and welcome to another Empowering Blog Post.
If you are new to this platform, allow me to introduce myself.
I am Felecia Killings, the Founder and CEO of The Felecia Killings Foundation. Our mission is to help people like you create a business, ministry, or movement around your authorship using best practices that ensure your success.
Each week, I share a FREE lesson on the site that gives you knowledge about Christian Writerpreneurship. And for today's teaching, I want to focus on the power of working with a skilled mentor or writing coach as you press forward on this journey.
Today's lesson is a special one. I have a featured guest who I want to introduce to you. Valerie McDowell is a fellow writing coach in this industry, and her years in the market have given her keen insight into the publishing world. By the end of this lesson, you will learn more about her work and how she can help you manifest your dream of becoming a published author this year.
So, without delay, let's jump into this teaching. You will learn what it means to have a mentor or coach and the four benefits that come to Christian Writerpreneurs who employ this best practice.
Welcome to another Empowering Post, where I teach you valuable lessons that will truly impact the growth of your new writing ministry.
If you are new to this virtual ministry, I'm Felecia Killings, the Founder of The Foundation and Creator of LiyahAmore University. I've worked with new Christian Authors since 2011, helping men and women build a business or ministry around their authorship.
My platform provides writerpreneurs like you the best resources and training materials that will help you manifest your vision as an author.
Over the last few weeks, my teachings have focused on developing productivity strategies that will help you make the most of your time and energy.
Now, for today's lesson, I want to help you understand what it means to be truly focused on your mission and vision.
I'm going to share how this particular trait is crucial to your growth and increase.
More specifically, I want to dive into the following areas:
So, let's spend some time together with this lesson. While it will be rather extensive, it is certainly worth your time.
Welcome to another Empowering Post, where I share powerful lessons that help you build a business or ministry around your authorship.
If you are new to my virtual ministry, let me introduce myself. I am Felecia Killings, the Founder and CEO of The Felecia Killings Foundation. Our mission is to help new and aspiring Christian Authors manifest their calling using spiritual and practical principles. Since 2011, my teachings have reached millions of people online. For authors and spiritual leaders who desire to see their ministries and businesses grow, I show them how it can be done through strategic practices.
This blog, in particular, motivates rising leaders to see how they fit within this end-time revival and national reformation. (I manage other blogs within The Foundation, which focus on other areas.) My expectation is when you learn about the principles that guarantee success, you will immediately apply them to your work. In due time, you will witness the fruit of your labor, if you remain steadfast in well-doing.
Now, for today's teaching, I want to focus on the principles and purpose of wealth.
Hopefully, you're not among fellow Christians who view wealth as "the devil." Money obviously is not evil; but at times, Christians struggle with it because they do not understand its purpose.
So, in today's lesson, I want to teach you more about these principles from God's perspective.
This teaching is pulled directly from my online school, LiyahAmore University. And if you would like to be among other scholars who are growing in their ministry as God's writers, I encourage you to enroll today.
So, grab your notepad and pen, and let's spend quality time together!
It will bless you.
Welcome to another Empowering Post, where I teach you powerful lessons that will help you build the writing ministry of your dreams.
I'm Felecia Killings, the Founder of LiyahAmore University, and it's my mission to give you the kind of support that you need to launch your vision this year.
For today's post, I want to continue with my teaching on various strategies that you can use to be most productive as a new Christian Author.
As I share in other lessons, being productive means employing multiple time-management strategies to your creative efforts so that you yield profound results.
Being most productive also means conditioning your mind to establish positive work habits, which form the basis for how you manage your ministry each day.
And with today's teaching, I want to discuss the power of setting clear goals for your work.
I'm not talking about establishing random goals, either.
Instead, I want to dive into what it means to set SMART goals.
This is one of the main lessons that I teach my students in my online school, and it has truly helped them to map out their ministry for the long run.
So, grab your notepad and pen, and let's spend some time discussing what it means to set SMART goals and how you can begin this productive strategy today.
I pray your Holiday season was a blessed one. As we come to the close of 2019 and the end of another decade, I wanted to share with you some of our highlights from this year.
If, by chance, you happen to be new to FeleciaKillings, let me introduce myself. I am Felecia Killings, the Founder and CEO of this great work. Since 2011, I've helped new and aspiring authors launch their business and ministry around their authorship. Today, my clients have grown into amazing writerpreneurs, speakers, and spiritual leaders who are changing the world using their stories.
In 2016, I launched my signature course, LiyahAmore University, a 6-month training program that walks my clients from A-Z of Christian Writerpreneurship. During this training, I worked with them to craft a book based on the vision and mission YahWeh delivered to them. Not only have my clients created and published their books, but they have become thriving podcast hosts, online coaches, and virtual ministers.
That was three years ago, and since then, I've continued to empower thousands of authors through the multiple lessons found on Our Blog.
In 2019, a shift occurred in FeleciaKillings. On social media -- Facebook and Twitter, for example -- my platform grew exponentially among the conservative political sphere. This dramatic shift altered the way I envisioned this virtual ministry and placed my name before leaders in Washington D.C. Such increase was followed by a number of business alterations, which I want to share with you in this post. And what I discovered was that YahWeh was taking this work (and our Beloveds) to a new level.
So, join me for a few moments as I share our 2019 year in review. By the end of the post, I will discuss the direction we're headed and why we are looking forward to this next decade (and not just the new year).
Welcome to another Empowering Post, where we teach writerpreneurs like you how to build a business or ministry around your authorship. If you are new to us, I am Felecia Killings, the Founder and CEO. I've worked with new authors, speakers, and spiritual leaders since 2011, helping them impact the world using their stories.
Recently, I decided to expand our network to include multiple factors that lead to our success. Not only will we teach you about book publishing, but we want you to experience a well-rounded education that helps you prosper in all areas as a writerpreneur.
But I certainly am no expert on all matters. And when it comes to discussing personal finances, I've chosen to pull from other bloggers and experts who could best empower you.
Now, while these experts won't speak to you as a writerpreneur specifically, the principles they teach will impact your life, your business, and your future wealth.
So, for today's teaching, I want to lead you to Financial Expert, Bola Sokunbi. She is the Founder of Clever Girl Finance. I've followed her work for a couple of years now, and I can say for certainty she knows her material.
Her recent article, "How to Budget: Create a Budget That Works," delivers powerful tips that will help you manage your wealth effectively.
More specifically, her lesson will teach you about:
So, grab your notepad and pen, and head over to Clever Girl Finance right now to learn more about budgeting your resources as you generate more wealth.
Beloved, let's talk money for a moment.
At FeleciaKillings, we spend extensive time discussing the systems that are used to build a thriving business or ministry. But we don't often talk about the "elephant in the room" when it comes to this work: how much money should be charged for your products or services.
When beginning this journey, quite often new writerpreneurs fear over-charging their services. So most of them undercut their fees or book prices instead of considering how best to position themselves in the market.
So, for today's Empowering Post, I want to share with you how I developed our pricing system that reflects our business's long-term financial goals. I will teach you why value is the important factor when it comes to pricing. In addition, you must also understand your ideal market and what they are willing to sacrifice for your offer.
So, without delay, let's get straight into this teaching.
Welcome to another Empowering Post, where I share with you powerful lessons that will transform your life and your writing ministry.
In case you are new to my ministry and business, I'm Felecia Killings, the Founder of LiyahAmore University.
My mission is to equip God's writers with the tools they need to build powerful, profitable, life-changing writing ministries.
As one of His writers, you are influential to the great movement of God.
You have a gift and an anointing to change lives using your testimony.
And whatever message the Holy Spirit has commissioned you to deliver, He wants you to do so in a spirit of excellence.
And that's where I come in.
My purpose is to give you the training materials and resources that you need to thrive.
Being called to this area of ministry must be taken seriously; and therefore, you must be willing to accept the kind of training that will elevate you to your next level.
And that's what you find at LiyahAmore University.
Now, for today's Empowering Post, I want to continue with my teaching series on how to be most productive as a new Christian Author.
But for today's teaching, I want to give you another behind-the-scenes look at how I use certain strategies that keep my ministry moving forward.
And with today's teaching, I will address 6 different time-management strategies that have revolutionized my ministry. More specifically, I will show you how:
So, come join me today for this empowering lesson. And discover how you can make the most of each day when you start implementing strategies that have worked for me and many others.
