Greetings Beloved,I pray your Holiday season was a blessed one. As we come to the close of 2019 and the end of another decade, I wanted to share with you some of our highlights from this year.
If, by chance, you happen to be new to FeleciaKillings, let me introduce myself. I am Felecia Killings, the Founder and CEO of this great work. Since 2011, I've helped new and aspiring authors launch their business and ministry around their authorship. Today, my clients have grown into amazing writerpreneurs, speakers, and spiritual leaders who are changing the world using their stories. In 2016, I launched my signature course, LiyahAmore University, a 6-month training program that walks my clients from A-Z of Christian Writerpreneurship. During this training, I worked with them to craft a book based on the vision and mission YahWeh delivered to them. Not only have my clients created and published their books, but they have become thriving podcast hosts, online coaches, and virtual ministers. That was three years ago, and since then, I've continued to empower thousands of authors through the multiple lessons found on Our Blog. In 2019, a shift occurred in FeleciaKillings. On social media -- Facebook and Twitter, for example -- my platform grew exponentially among the conservative political sphere. This dramatic shift altered the way I envisioned this virtual ministry and placed my name before leaders in Washington D.C. Such increase was followed by a number of business alterations, which I want to share with you in this post. And what I discovered was that YahWeh was taking this work (and our Beloveds) to a new level. So, join me for a few moments as I share our 2019 year in review. By the end of the post, I will discuss the direction we're headed and why we are looking forward to this next decade (and not just the new year).

Greetings Beloved,Welcome to another Empowering Post, where we teach writerpreneurs like you how to build a business or ministry around your authorship. If you are new to us, I am Felecia Killings, the Founder and CEO. I've worked with new authors, speakers, and spiritual leaders since 2011, helping them impact the world using their stories.
Recently, I decided to expand our network to include multiple factors that lead to our success. Not only will we teach you about book publishing, but we want you to experience a well-rounded education that helps you prosper in all areas as a writerpreneur. But I certainly am no expert on all matters. And when it comes to discussing personal finances, I've chosen to pull from other bloggers and experts who could best empower you. Now, while these experts won't speak to you as a writerpreneur specifically, the principles they teach will impact your life, your business, and your future wealth. So, for today's teaching, I want to lead you to Financial Expert, Bola Sokunbi. She is the Founder of Clever Girl Finance. I've followed her work for a couple of years now, and I can say for certainty she knows her material. Her recent article, "How to Budget: Create a Budget That Works," delivers powerful tips that will help you manage your wealth effectively. More specifically, her lesson will teach you about:
So, grab your notepad and pen, and head over to Clever Girl Finance right now to learn more about budgeting your resources as you generate more wealth. Beloved, let's talk money for a moment. At FeleciaKillings, we spend extensive time discussing the systems that are used to build a thriving business or ministry. But we don't often talk about the "elephant in the room" when it comes to this work: how much money should be charged for your products or services.
When beginning this journey, quite often new writerpreneurs fear over-charging their services. So most of them undercut their fees or book prices instead of considering how best to position themselves in the market. So, for today's Empowering Post, I want to share with you how I developed our pricing system that reflects our business's long-term financial goals. I will teach you why value is the important factor when it comes to pricing. In addition, you must also understand your ideal market and what they are willing to sacrifice for your offer. So, without delay, let's get straight into this teaching. Greetings Beloved,Welcome to another Empowering Post, where we share powerful lessons that help you build a new business or ministry around your authorship.
If you're new to our work, let me introduce myself. I am Felecia Killings, the Founder and CEO. Our mission is to help you understand the steps involved in creating books that astound your audience. More than that, we want to equip you to take your authorship to the next level by reaching millions of people with the message God has given to you. Each week, we share amazing content with our Beloved Tribe, which provides a snippet of our online school, LiyahAmore University. Today, our scholars are award-winning authors, national and international coaches, and thriving political influencers. And to give you a taste of what we deliver inside the University, I want to share with you tips on how to market your book, business, or ministry most effectively. Most authors find marketing to be extremely challenging, especially because many would much rather focus on writing rather than promotion. But what I hope to do is show you how marketing and networking can be fun and exciting; and when done effectively, it can help you reach your financial goals. Now, for today's post, I want to teach you about the #1 method for marketing yourself and your brand. In order to accomplish this, however, you want to make sure that you have a clear idea of your business's or ministry's vision. In addition, you must understand your target audience and what it desires mostly from you. But once you have that in place, you can then use certain materials to help word spread about you and your work. Today's lesson is an oldie, but a goodie. I first published it back in 2017 for our first round of students on a previous YouTube show I entitled EWP-TV. This video presentation will expound upon the concept of content marketing, a method that online entrepreneurs use to build relationships with consumers while generating sales. Content marketing is so pivotal to one's success that we've devoted hundreds of lessons (from today's leading experts) on how to master this process in your business or ministry. Content marketing can manifest in multiple forms such as blogs, webinars, and videos. But ultimately, the goal remains the same: to increase brand awareness while helping you build wealth. So, get out your pen and notepad, and let's spend some time together with today's Empowering Post. I love conservatism...Always have, always will, even when it is no longer trendy.
Back in 2016, Americans witnessed what is now called the Modern Black Conservative Movement, an impromptu social media surge of Black people identifying as Republican or Conservative. In the beginning of this new phase, nearly all of us received backlash from those who despised the base; yet, the more hate we received, the stronger we grew. After Donald Trump won the election in 2016 - thanks in part to the increase of Black male voters voting Republican and many others staying home - it seemed more Black people wanted to identify as conservative. Suddenly, we were hit with these random "new Black Conservatives" who had voted Democrat their entire voting lives ... yet suddenly deciding to jump on the Republican/Trump train. Before long, Black Conservatism became a popular theme within social media with the promise that a major Black Exodus would happen from the Democratic Party. And then came the same cycle. Republican organizations like Turning Point USA picked up these figures and began framing their narratives based on the usual talking points that Conservatives love to hear; and it made me wonder: "Are we truly interested in reaching more Black voters with this conservative message, or are we here to make a name for ourselves?" At that point, I took a step back and became increasingly vocal in my criticism of the movement. We traded our authenticity in exchange for ratings and cash flows. We became loyal to a base rather than loyal to the cause of empowering voters to vote their conservative conscience. And in 2018, during the mid-term elections, we paid for it when we lost seats in the House of Representatives and when so many Red states nearly turned Blue ... ... and we will pay for it again in 2020. With my audience on Facebook (and now on Twitter), I told the people: "We have to do things differently. We cannot continue pushing the same narrative that the base has been doing for decades regarding Black people. We need to switch things up." Most did not take my strong encouragement seriously, but my teachings caught the attention of prominent minority Republican leaders (few of which I'm helping right now in Atlanta, GA and Washington D.C.). Things are changing and have been shifting for years; but it seems the Republican Party is stuck on the old methods of winning by pandering to all-white audiences (and evangelicals) all the while belittling the majority of Black people. And then they hire Black people to push the same talking points, even when such rhetoric denies their own convictions and truth. I argue not only will this hurt the base in 2020, but it will completely cripple the entire Party over the next two decades if things don't change NOW. And in this empowering lesson, I explain why this is so. I want to teach you, Beloved Conservative, that there is a better way of doing things. There is a method that can be used by every Conservative American so we see our values remain the dominant ideology in our country. And if you're willing to hear and to act, you will help bring change to our nation, which we so desperately need. Greetings Beloved,Welcome to FeleciaKillings where we empower women like you to use your stories to bring deliverance and healing to others.
If you're new to our world, allow me to introduce myself. I am Felecia Killings, Founder and CEO of this great work.
