Greetings Beloved,Welcome to another Empowering Post, where I share powerful lessons that help you build a business or ministry around your authorship. If you are new to my virtual ministry, let me introduce myself. I am Felecia Killings, the Founder and CEO of The Felecia Killings Foundation. Our mission is to help new and aspiring Christian Authors manifest their calling using spiritual and practical principles. Since 2011, my teachings have reached millions of people online. For authors and spiritual leaders who desire to see their ministries and businesses grow, I show them how it can be done through strategic practices. This blog, in particular, motivates rising leaders to see how they fit within this end-time revival and national reformation. (I manage other blogs within The Foundation, which focus on other areas.) My expectation is when you learn about the principles that guarantee success, you will immediately apply them to your work. In due time, you will witness the fruit of your labor, if you remain steadfast in well-doing. Now, for today's teaching, I want to focus on the principles and purpose of wealth. Hopefully, you're not among fellow Christians who view wealth as "the devil." Money obviously is not evil; but at times, Christians struggle with it because they do not understand its purpose. So, in today's lesson, I want to teach you more about these principles from God's perspective. This teaching is pulled directly from my online school, LiyahAmore University. And if you would like to be among other scholars who are growing in their ministry as God's writers, I encourage you to enroll today. So, grab your notepad and pen, and let's spend quality time together! It will bless you. Back in 2016......I first asked the Holy Spirit for help growing my business. One of my struggles included learning how to generate massive wealth using my gift of teaching and writing while online. In May 2016, I attended a virtual summit hosted by Teachable, which taught me about creating online courses and using books to help promote them. I learned a lot from the expert panelist, many of whom are best-selling authors. But I remember thinking, Why are all the wealthy ones unbelievers? Aren’t Christian authors doing something wonderful as well? These were legitimate questions I had, and maybe some that you share as well. At the heart of it, I wanted an answer to my main question: "How can Believers (including me) leverage their God-given gifts in order to generate wealth to help advance the Kingdom of God?" As I thought about these questions, I remembered how taboo “wealth” is in modern Christendom. So many Believers have a problem with money or any discussion surrounding it. As I asked the Holy Spirit about this—and I hope you speak to Him regularly, too—He showed me that as much as I believed Him for health, food, strength, and comfort, I could also believe Him to show me how to generate wealth. And that's the lesson I want to emphasize with today's teaching. Wealth is not for the wicked, Beloved. The Bible clearly teaches that God has given the unfortunate, burdensome task of gathering wealth to the wicked just so it can be transferred to the righteous (see Proverbs 13:22). The righteous ones are Believers -- those who know their God and have a complete relationship with the Holy Spirit. But for what purpose do we see this transfer of wealth? Here is where people question and scrutinize leaders in the Church. Quite often, we witness men and women abuse the finances that pour into the ministry. We see individuals who have never been called to pastor suddenly decide to file for their non-profit status just so they can form a church and collect the tithes. We’ve seen men and women rise and fall, and have watched as some faced criminal charges for their role in dealing with money. But those who have done this are not the righteous ones of God. They are not Believers. And that money they stole will eventually transfer back into the hands of the godly. I want to spend some time discussing this matter with you, Beloved, because now is a prime time for you to be in a position to gather wealth as one of God's writers and spiritual leaders. If you find this message doesn't resonate with you, then you may not want to stick with my brand. Because at the heart of it all, I will teach why generating wealth is necessary for this time. I'm confident the Holy Spirit can trust you with it so you fulfill your God-given assignment. The Controversial Money ConversationIn spite of numerous scriptures that support this belief, the majority of Christians still think it’s wrong for God’s people to have wealth. I know this because I’ve been criticized for teaching this message, especially during the early stages of my online business. I had people in Christian groups tell me that I need to stop trying to make money off of the Word of God, as if to suggest that I'm conning people with this message. And of course I don't listen, because they are fools—and I mean the biblical definition of a fool. Their criticisms revealed a flawed mentality within the local and global Church. Here's what I mean: Our Heavenly Father radiates in glory. His streets are made of gold! What we consider "priceless" is common in Heaven. So, surely, if wealth and riches are a curse, then we call the very buildings and monuments and places in Heaven a curse. At the same time, we have to understand that wealth is for us, but for a specific purpose. Not everyone will be "anointed" to have millions of dollars. Not everyone can be trusted with that much wealth. (I’m talking about Kingdom principles here.) Some will be given so much based on what YahWeh wants them to accomplish, and I can prove it to you. If you know anything about the Parable of the Talents, then you know Yeshua is talking about entrusting unto His servants riches that belong to Him. (Remember, God said, “The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine” (Haggai 2:8)). Here’s a brief summary of the lesson: There was a man who owned property, obviously wealthy. Before going on another journey, he called his servants and gave each of them 1-5 talents, representing a measure or portion of his wealth. (Here we see that not everyone can be trusted with an equal amount of “talents.”) Upon leaving, the servant with five talents went forth and conducted business. He fared well, and doubled his master’s investment, thus resulting in 10 talents. The servant with two talents went forth and accomplished the same thing, bringing back four talents. However, the servant who was given the least (one talent) went forth and buried the talent. In other words, he did nothing with it. Upon returning from his trip, the master inquired about the servants' dealings. Each gave their report, to which the master heftily rewarded the first two servants. But to the last servant, he cursed him. Why? Because instead of working his "talent," he buried it. When the master asked him why he did so, the servant accused him of being harsh, unfair, and “reaping where [the master] had not sown.” For whatever reason, the servant hated the master and refused to expand "his kingdom." As such, the master banished the wicked servant into darkness—hell—and gave that one talent to the servant who had the most talents. Now, try to see how this story relates to Believers today. How many of us have been given a portion or a talent, only to bury it because we do not believe in multiplying our Father’s “property”? Instead of working to build the Kingdom of God here on earth, we take what we have received and put it away; then we accuse God of being mean, and harsh, and unfair, having the nerve to ask us to make Him more “talents” when He’s not the One doing the work. This is the attitude of many Believers as it relates to wealth. This is why God can’t trust everyone with more "talents" (money) because they won’t do what He is telling them to do with what they've been given. Sure, unbelievers will work hard and increase in prosperity; and there are many reasons for that. But for Believers, this is our inheritance. This is one of our portions and rewards. And we have a moral obligation to handle God’s money—because it all belongs to Him anyways—as He sees fit. This is the message I want to convey to you, Beloved. You can learn what it takes to generate wealth as a Believer. My school will give you the tools for that. But what are you going to do when wealth comes into your hands? This leads me into the 7 purposes related to wealth and why your authorship is the vehicle for this transfer. 7 Reasons Why Generating Wealth Should Be Important to YouLet's get into this.
Don't Fear Wealth...Simply Manage It WellIf this lesson didn't teach you much, then at least leave with this message: You don't have to be afraid of wealth or what you think it might do to you. You can learn how to be a good steward over the riches that come your way. You can service many more people when you have more resources at your disposal. You can be a tremendous blessing to those in need, and you can fulfill your God-given mission in a greater capacity. So, don't fear wealth. Don't let that stop you from walking in everything God has prepared for you. Shift your mind when it comes to wealth. Money is not evil. It's what one does with the resources that make the difference. As one of God's writers, you can position your ministry or business to generate massive income, and I want to help you get started.
