Welcome to FeleciaKillings where we empower women like you to use your stories to bring deliverance and healing to others.
If you're new to our world, allow me to introduce myself. I am Felecia Killings, Founder and CEO of this great work. Our mission is to train 25,000 new and aspiring authors, speakers, and spiritual leaders to build dynamic businesses or ministries around their authorship.
Each week, I share empowering posts that analyze the steps necessary to create a book, launch a movement, or reach new readers with one's message. (You can be a part of this, too, when you become a member of our Beloved Tribe.) And for today's teaching, I want to give you the building blocks for launching your work in the near future.
If you stick around FeleciaKillings long enough, you'll discover a powerful network of women authors who are transforming lives using their stories.
For many women, we long to use our gifts and talents to inspire others; but often times, we withhold our contributions because we lack the spiritual and technical training to make our works a success.
So, in today's Empowering Post, I want to share with you the 6 pillars that have helped this virtual empire (and that of my scholars) grow exponentially. More specifically, I will teach you about:
Whether you are a new or aspiring author, or if you have a book already published, you will find this teaching truly powerful.
So, let's get straight to it!
This is an announcement, which solidifies my official break from the overall conservative movement and my total commitment to conscious black conservatism.
For several weeks now, I've shared with my Beloveds on Twitter that my time in conservative politics is coming to an end.
I have another assignment to complete, one that will take me to the churches.
For the longest time, I never knew why the Holy Spirit led me to the political space. There's absolutely nothing appealing about it; and this blood sport is brutal to those whose hearts genuinely care for the people.
I consider my "conservative political career" to be akin to the minor prophets mentioned in the Scriptures. Such individuals appeared at a pivotal point in history and nearly vanished into oblivion once the assignment was complete.
In my case -- and I can only speculate retrospectively -- my presence was simply to stir the current leaders once again to hold fast to the spiritual laws that govern our success. In other words, the prophetic anointing caused people to mobilize; and I can only assume that was my purpose within this conservative movement: to mobilize us into action.
Read any story from the Prophets, and you will discover a trend: YahWeh calls us before we were formed. He gives us a specific message to deliver. He anoints us for the task. We speak the prophetic Word of the Lord. The people hate the message and the messenger. The people devise ways to destroy the message by killing the messenger. The messenger's warnings go unheeded, yet they are confirmed over time. The people are destroyed or brought into captivity for disobeying the word AND killing the prophets. The messenger has no grace or desire to pray for the people, but the people's cries are strong before the Lord. So, the Lord anoints someone to be a deliverer. And eventually, the prophet's assignment is complete.
This happens like clockwork, because humans are quite predictable. (Study the book of Judges to see the pattern).
This, essentially, is what I've encountered over the last three years in conservative politics. YahWeh appointed this time for Believers to dominate politically. Believers prayed for His intervention. YahWeh answered by giving us an assuming vessel. The people began worshiping the servant as a god. YahWeh raised up prophetic voices to get the people's focus back on Him and His principles. The people rejected the prophets, slandered them, and sought to destroy their influence. The warnings went unheeded. Believers began to lose political influence. Eventually, they will cry out for a deliverer, but the prophets will reject them. And at some point, after Believers have experienced "captivity" for a while, YahWeh will raise a deliverer to help them.
That's essentially what Conservative Christians can expect to happen in the coming years, because despite having the open window, they have thrown their fist in God's face. It's for this reason I feel we do not deserve this incoming revival and national reformation. We do not deserve such an outpouring at this time, because we do not know how to handle such power.
And we will reap the consequences for our behavior.
It seems everywhere we look...
...new Conservative voices are rising up each day, "coming out of the closet" in what appears to be a revolution happening among Black Americans.
For decades now, Democrats have held what I call a political monopoly over Black voters; but now the tide is shifting.
The traditional narrative is being challenged.
"Free thinking" is slowly but surely becoming the norm.
And there is no end in sight.
What is the cause of this change?
And what will this mean for future elections, especially as more Black Conservatives continue to spread their messages across social media platforms and the nation?
Welcome, Beloved, to another empowering lesson within The Christian Writerpreneurs Blog Series.
For today's teaching, I want to share with you simple steps that will help you develop your inspirational book.
There are many writers today who have a message of hope and inspiration for others. While some works are phenomenal, there are others, especially in the self-publishing industry, that are sub-par simply because of the poor writing and lack of editing.
While to some people, these technical issues may not matter, I want to highlight some useful tips to those who are looking to create successful, inspirational works. As you grow in your writing ministry, you'll discover how important it is to present a professional, empowering product so your audience becomes addicted to your work.
This is a lesson I teach to all my scholars inside LiyahAmore University, and I know this will help you as well.
So, let’s begin!
Why the Secret Place is the Best Place for Your Soul and Ministry [Guest Speaker, Alexandria Butler]
Becoming a virtual minister and Christian Writerpreneur is often challenging.
Whenever we choose to follow the calling, we find ourselves alone, afraid, and sometimes apprehensive.
Not many people understand what we go through or why we've chosen this pathway.
But for those of us who know Ruach Elohim, we find our place and security in Him.
I am so pleased to welcome a dear sister in the Lord, who will teach you about the importance of intimacy with Christ.
Alexandria Butler will share her own personal experience of how being in His Presence enables her to confidently proclaim His message through her virtual ministry.
Read more about her and the dynamic teaching she will bring; and be sure to sign up for The Holy Ghost and You Ministry Class to enjoy more powerful training.
Sexual assault, molestation, and the like...
These are often common occurrences among girls and women today; yet it seems too few are willing to call it out and address them for what they truly are:
A manifestation of demonic influence.
Most often, when women are treated as such, we tend to internalize our abuse. We feel guilty for what's happened. We question our sanity and whether we did something to initiate it.
Once we fall into that trap of self-inflicted oppression, we struggle to thrive in life because we worry if such a thing will happen again.
But then there are those of us who learned to conquer the shame and guilt. We reclaim our minds and discover our identity in Yeshua. We then become filled with His Spirit, and soon realize we are not victims but rather daughters of the King.
Seeing ourselves through new lens gives us hope for the future; and before long, our experiences become a platform for us to help empower others like us.
This is a message my guest speaker, Betty Short-Sams, will deliver in The Holy Ghost and You Virtual Summit and Ministry Class. If you think your story is rough, wait until you hear (and read) her testimony.

Every so often, the Holy Spirit brings people my way who just stick!
Whether it be a client, a student, a colleague, or fellow conservative leader, these people become pillars in my life and life-long comrades.
Years ago, I came across such individual. She was looking for a writing coach to help her put her book and ministry together.
She had a terrible experience with another book publisher; and she simply wanted a person who could give her the truth.
Well, when you ask the Holy Spirit for something, He's going to deliver; and that's exactly what she received when we connected.
Tschanna Taylor has been a long-time client and student of mine. During one of our coaching sessions, she shared a personal story with me, one she hadn't even shared with her mother.
After listening to her, I gave her this response: "Tschanna, your story is your ministry. That story will cause you to help other women stuck in the same position."
More than a year later, Tschanna has taken on my advice, packaged her story, and is now leading other women to claim victory.
This is why I am so pleased to have her join my lineup of speakers for The Holy Ghost and You Virtual Summit and Ministry Class. If you think your story is tough, you won't want to miss her presentation as she describes the turmoil she experienced trying to hide her secret from others.
Take a look at the post below to learn more about her and her exciting presentation.
Every woman can attribute her success to one or more persons...
I attribute mine to the Holy Spirit, the family I was born into, and the few leaders I've come to call mentors.
Each person, based on their gifts and anointing, has imparted something into my life. My father taught me to forever reject the victim's mentality; my step mother taught me about the prophetic office and gifts; spiritual leaders like Dr. Myles Munroe and Dr. Creflo Dollar taught me about Kingdom principles and dominion; my birth mother introduced me to the world of publishing.
Each person had a part and share in the success I have today.
But none have been more instrumental in my growth and expansion than the Holy Spirit.
Too often, Believers think of the Holy Spirit as a force or a lesser being among the Triune Godhead. But the Holy Spirit is God, equal in power and strength; He is a spirit with a personality, and His desire is to have relationship with the sons and daughters of God to empower them to be effective agents of change in the earth.
Knowing the Holy Spirit and understanding the gifts He distributes to the Body are primary pillars of FKMinistries; and during the Holy Ghost and You Virtual Summit and Ministry Class, my friend and fellow writing coach, Angela Meer, will teach you how to work them within your ministry.
Read the rest of the post to learn more about her and the lesson she has planned for you.
I can't tell you the number of times I wanted to quit this work...
Back in 2016 when the Holy Spirit asked me to devote my full-time towards FKMinistries and our virtual work, I initially resisted the prodding.
"I'll go broke doing ministry," I contended. "And I don't like being broke. Plus, Your people are hard to deal with." (Of course, the Holy Spirit reassured me I wouldn't go broke, and in fact, He gave me creative ideas for generating wealth.)
Before 2010, I spent a large portion of my life serving in ministry. I was a leader in our youth group, I was on the praise team, I led a ministry dance team.
I gave so much towards the work; and when my "7-year tribulation" emerged, I wanted nothing to do with the ministry. (It's something about the attacks that gave me a bad taste for "laboring in God's vineyard.")
Quite often, when we position ourselves as leaders in a movement, we become a target for ridicule, persecution, and the like. We inevitably set ourselves up to receive public criticism, and for most people, this is a major turnoff.
I'm sure you may have felt the same way, especially as you contemplated moving forward in your ministry. Maybe you're questioning if this is something you want to venture given all the troubles that arise; and if so, this teaching is just for you.
Ladies, I am so pleased to introduce my guest speaker, Lady "Di" Lovelace, who will teach you about the power of perseverance.
Take a look at the remaining post to learn more about her and this dynamic teaching coming up.
