Stacey Abrams’s Value Now Worth $3.17 Million and I am Not Mad at Her Black Conservatism

Black Conservatism makes another millionaire out of a Black Progressive. Gotta love it!

We keep winning.

And I'm certainly not talking about the Conservative base at all, which steady finds new methods to lose in the culture and with politics.

No, I am talking about Black Conservatism.

We keep winning because we keep building. And we find evidence that our principles work from the ones who claim our philosophy is oppressive.

​The irony is laughable.

In a recent report from AP News, Jeff Amy discusses Stacey Abrams impressive financial growth from 2018 to 2022.

Back when she first made her bid for governor of Georgia, Abrams's net worth sat at $109,000.

Her rapid ascent into millionaire status corresponds with her rise in national politics. Since her 2018 defeat to Republican Brian Kemp, Abrams has become a leading voting rights activist. She was considered as a potential running mate to President Joe Biden and is widely credited with organizing voters in Georgia to help him become the first Democrat to carry the state in the presidential vote in 28 years. Along the way, she has earned $6 million, mostly driven by $5 million in payments for books and speeches. (Source)

Back in 2018, Republicans and Conservatives criticized her for mismanaging her personal finances.

​Rather than honing in on their negative outlooks, Abrams went to work in becoming a national powerhouse for the Democrat Party.

In an interview, Abrams said it was ironic for Republicans to criticize her financial success, something the party often praises as the result of hard work.

“It is remarkable to me that success is now being demonized by the Republicans,” she said. “I believe in success. I believe that every person should have the opportunity to thrive. And because I had three years where I was in the private sector, I leveraged all three years, and in that time, I’ve done my best to not only be successful personally, but to do what I can to help Georgians.” (Source)

Putting boots on the ground is a massive understatement when discussing Abrams’s work. Not only did she become a force against voter suppression, but she championed a massive cause to register nearly 1,000,000 new voters in Georgia alone.

Without question, her efforts resulted in President Biden winning Georgia, a feat no Democrat President had done in 28 years.

When I first brought this to my audience’s attention, I was met with mixed responses. On one hand, some Conservatives thought I was praising Abrams for registering new Black voters as Democrats (ludicrous). But other Conservatives recognized the bigger picture I painted. 

I wanted them to take their cue from Abrams, who clearly knows how to handle defeat with poise, dignity, and fire.

And some Conservatives went to work to compete.

For example, Scott Pressler made an aggressive campaign to register new Republican voters across the nation. A difficult task, but one he takes very seriously.

Within the Conscious Conservative Movement, we’ve made strides to hold actual conversations with Black voters in Atlanta, GA to introduce our philosophy and to get their take on the Republican Party.

In other words, while some Conservatives resorted to shameless name calling, another segment of us activated.

But let’s focus on the main point within this lesson: Black Conservatism.

You see, while there are numerous Black Democrats who tell our communities that Progressivism is some form of charity, these same Black leaders will flex economically using Black Conservatism.

They will start new businesses.

They will become best-selling authors.

They will tour the country to speak.

And they will earn MILLIONS of dollars for contributing their gifts to the market.

They will flex using the principles of Black Conservatism, namely our practice of implementing capitalism to build Black Wealth.

And I am not mad at them, because they prove, once again, that Black Conservatism is the solution to bring ANYONE out of abject poverty.

Proof Positive Black Conservatism Works, Because Our Progressive Cousins Love Using It to Improve Their Status

History has proven what happens when a government holds too much power over its citizens. While a strong force like the federal government can stop something like slavery, that same force, when transferred into different hands, can be used against people who do not comply with government’s demands.

Today, if you listen to Black Progressives in media and in Black communities, they will tell you all the tales about White Supremacy.

During Trump’s presidency, especially in 2020, that’s all we heard from them.

“Trump is a racist. He is a White Supremacist. We must get White Supremacy out of the White House!”

The marketing and messaging worked to some degree as millions of Americans showed up in record numbers to vote for Joe Biden, ironically a bonafide White Supremacist with a track record of initiating policies that killed our Black communities.

(But I digress.)

To modern Progressives, the White Supremacist enemy is the Republican Party.

Not the Democrat Party with its history of systemic racism.

Just the Republican Party and its affiliates.

(Insert eye rolling.)

Meanwhile, as these Progressives claim to be champions of Black rights, they use the same government system to destroy our communities, namely raping our Black Economics.

For this reason, I often argue in Twitter Class, “Government cannot be the savior and the oppressor.”

But this Progressive thinking is nothing new.

In fact, the history of Black Wall Streets show us what happens when a government controlled by the most racist humans sees Black Americans thriving.

Bigger government — aka Progressivism — then has the power (via legislation and heavy taxation) to make or break communities. (Source)

Building Black Wealth sits at the core of Black Conservatism, and Black women like Abrams are no exception to the rule.

According to AP News,

Seth Bringman, an Abrams campaign spokesperson, said she gave 37 paid speeches in 2021, including a 12-stop fall tour of stand-alone appearances. She’s written, co-written or reissued six books since 2019, with another reissue on the way later this year.

Abrams was also paid more than $700,000 over three years as executive director of the Southern Economic Advancement Project, an affiliate of the Roosevelt Institute that seeks to improve economic equity in the South. Abrams has reported no income from Fair Fight Action, the voting rights group she founded and formerly chaired.

Abrams, who last year released a business book with a longtime business partner, also reports investments in a number of companies. Some are longtime holdings including Now Account Network Corp., which finances businesses by buying invoices. Abrams in November joined the board of Heliogen, a California company that seeks to use sunlight to concentrate heat for industrial processes, electricity generation and hydrogen fuel production. Abrams reported $65,000 in Heliogen stock. (Source)

Can’t you just see the Black Conservatism oozing from her?

Beautiful, isn’t it?

Abrams’s financial rise proves once again the economic principles we preach within Conscious Black Conservatism. ​

Conscious Conservative Capitalism is a community-based, economic system rooted in spiritual laws. The individual contributes his gifts, talents, and skills to the market. He exchanges his goods or services for capital. He uses the resources to bless his immediate family so they are well-provided. Then he invests directly in his community with contributions that help the entire unit prosper. (Source)

Thus, it stands to reason: If the principles and philosophy can work for Black Progressives, then why not teach the people the same lessons?

Because Progressivism requires poverty in order to maintain relevance.

And that is the message we must preach to folks stuck under the weight of Progressivism’s heels.

A Call to Action

As with all lessons, I want Beloveds to feel empowered. While we can spend hours each day complaining about Democrats, what are we doing to compete? What are we doing to change the discourse? What are we doing to move the needle in the right direction?

Within the Conscious Conservative Movement, we’ve activated.

Not only have we brought our message to millions online, but we’re taking the next steps to sow the empowering seed in Black communities nationwide.

Evangelism is key in this next round, not to sell any particular candidate per se, but to sell Conscious Conservatism.

We’re a different breed within this general conservative base, because we hold fast to core spiritual laws that provide keys to our success in the social, political, and economic spheres.

While the Republican Party lies to its base about Black Outreach, we show up on the ground, no matter how small or great. We are committed to this venture long-term because we understand long-term strategy is necessary.

For more than 100 years, Black communities have suffered at the hands of Progressivism. Each time they build, Big Daddy Government finds a new method to crush their success. From outright violent attacks against thriving Black Wall Streets to more regulations and taxation on Black Wealth, you will find the government stripping away at what these communities attempt to build.

Government has its place, which is why we support limiting it.

But when it comes to empowering our local communities, we prefer our local residents and local government to handle matters.

For this reason, we will continue selling Conscious Conservatism nationwide.

Why?

Because it works!
