The Power of Exercising Conscious Conservative Capitalism

When the Holy Spirit asked me years ago to launch this virtual ministry, I was apprehensive.

Aside from my initial objection -- one based on "Have you read what they've said about me online?" -- I worried how I could manage working full-time and still performing the work of ministry at 100%.

Add to it, I knew the stigma associated with money and ministry, mostly because people have witnessed too many spiritual leaders financially abusing the people.

I worried I might deal with the same nonsense, especially because I come from a capitalist background. I know this economic system well enough to use it to better my own life.

But for some reason, people in the church world take issue with wealth, as if it's some demonic force that can't be controlled.

When I first began my work as a writing coach and book publishing specialist to authors, one of the primary lessons I taught focused on wealth-building.

I can't tell you the number of detractors I had simply because I taught why wealth is a tool for us to use and not something to fear.

Nevertheless, I continued teaching.
Some women received the message while most rejected it.

But with each new wealth-building teaching, I purposed to show why more capital must get into the hands of the righteous.

Today, I hold fast to that same belief.

Money is not an enemy to the people. It is a tool that provides opportunities to live wholly.

For example, if a single mother wants her child to receive top-tier education, access to more capital makes that possible.

If a family wants to starts a small business, access to immediate capital allows them to explore these options.

Capital is necessary.

But what we do with such resources tells us the type of people we are.

Practicing a Form of Capitalism: Conscious Conservative Capitalism

You've heard me say this before: Everyone has a part or share in this great Kingdom work.

In other words, everyone has something to offer that will impact the entire Movement and the nation.

And the same principle applies when we consider building economic empires in this next round.

Some of us have been graced with the skills, talent, and discipline to master the capitalist system. Many are learning the systems to see how they can generate millions of dollars.

Some do it for their own selfish reasons.

But within The Felecia Killings Foundation and the Conscious Conservative Movement, we embrace capitalism for the purpose of empowering the individual, the family, and the community.

These efforts are already at work, and you see much of it happening within other organizations and Movements who have partnered with us.

Consider Maj Toure's organization, Black Guns Matter. Over the last few years, his organization has raised close to $500K for the specific purpose of bringing FREE education to urban communities regarding 2A.

His work is not government sponsored. Donations come directly from local businesses, sponsors, and Beloved Givers like you.

In turn, the capital is then used to bring empowerment via a specific measure.

This is a form of community-based capitalism or what I will now brand as Conscious Conservative Capitalism.

Here's another way to define this concept:

Conscious Conservative Capitalism is a community-based, economic system rooted in spiritual laws. The individual contributes his gifts, talents, and skills to the market. He exchanges his goods or services for capital. He uses the resources to bless his immediate family so they are well-provided. Then he invests directly in his community with contributions that help the entire unit prosper.

Because the individual is fully aware of the Law of Sowing and Reaping, he does not fear contributing to the overall community, for the Law promises to return to him 30, 60, or 100 fold.

The same spiritual law promises the following: "There is one who scatters, yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty" (Proverbs 11:24).

Conscious Conservative Capitalism replaces the need for government interference in our economic and social affairs. While "Compassionate Conservatism" or "Democrat Community Capitalism" seeks to use bigger government to help local communities, our economic philosophy returns power to the people for the expressed purpose of building their local empires.

In our communities, visionaries should know exactly who to contact regarding access to business capital.

We should know exactly who to reach to find donors for our ideas.

In addition, citizens should know exactly who to turn to for assistance within their communities, support that does not require government overreach.

As it stands, we don't have these resources easily at our disposal.

If a single mother, for example, needs assistance with food or housing, she has to turn to Progressive government to gain immediate support.

Why?

Because a mainstream system has not been mass marketed that focuses on a better way to empower this demographic.

As it stands, Progressivism is still the #1 "solution" promoted to communities that are struggling. But what is the cost for that solution? What price do these citizens have to pay for that type of support?

What freedoms do they relinquish just to put food on the table and provide shelter to their families?

The price is high.

You've read my story about my interaction with California's version of Progressivism and its attempts to destroy my small freelance business. The politicians who championed that cause pretended they were helping workers when in reality, Californian workers had millions of opportunities snatched from them.

The price for Progressivism is high.

And generally speaking, the primary victims of such efforts are citizens like you and me who are trying to rebuild without government interference.

Progressivism is NOT charity.

But it is perfectly marketed as such.

Progressivism has an entire machine or system that makes it fully functional in certain communities that do not have other options. And this ought not be so.

This is why our Movement and our partners are working diligently to present new opportunities to communities based in an empowering philosophy that works.

And together, we can form new systems based on what the people need.

This is why Conservatives must make allies with Black voters this next round. You have a need, a need to expand your base to fight government overreach.

And Black voters have a need, a need to flex Dual Domination so Progressivism stops choking their communities.

While we know focusing on the community isn't what you're typically used to, you must learn to engage collectively as you empower individually.

Black Americans know this experience all too well, and they are the demographic most equipped to combat a government that seeks to oppress for political and economic purposes.

But Conservatives have to show up! We have to be a present force in these communities so they have options.

And that also means sharing wisdom regarding economics and how to use capitalism as a measure to empower the community.

Don't let Progressivism win on this battlefield of ideas by default.

In other words, don't give such philosophy a victory simply because you weren't present with a competing ideology.

We must do better this round.

We are doing better, and we will continue to move forward each day.

Now it's your turn to decide where you fit in their overall work.

Stay blessed, Beloveds! And let's continue building together.
