The Felecia Killings Foundation and Felecia Killings will be seeking compensatory damages, punitive damages, and criminal charges against Kira Davis, former Editor of RedState, for her years-long online harassment, slander, and public and private defamatory statements made towards us from the years 2020-2024.

A thread:
Since 2013, I have worked strenuously to rebuild my life and my career after winning my 2010 case. As such, The Foundation and I do not take online harassment, online threats, and cyberbullying lightly. And we will continue our efforts to protect what God has given us to empower the people He has brought our way.
Thank you to every Beloved for your love, prayers, and support at this time as we seek to secure current and future protections for the work we do. Please respect our need to maintain the integrity of this situation as we refrain from publicly discussing all details related to this matter. We will, however, submit general updates to keep our members and audience informed about our legal progress. We trust that God will come through for us as we continue this national Kingdom work.
Lastly, I encourage every leader to remain legally-minded and to learn about your rights to protect the vision and work God has given you. No one has a right to defame you, to threaten you, and to slander you. Guard your vision and secure all needed protections against onslaughts in this online space. And continue to manifest your greatness. God is at work. Your voice is needed. And The Felecia Killings Foundation will continue to be a support to you as God sees fit.
Blessings to all,
Coach Felecia Killings | Founder and CEO of The Felecia Killings Foundation
- In 2019, a RedState journalist conducted an hours-long interview with me via Twitter Direct Message to learn more about my story, my organization’s community work, and my 2010 criminal case, which received national attention more than a decade ago. His intention was to bring more awareness to The Foundation’s single mothers ministry (My Beloved Women’s Ministry) and our conservative political activism by publishing an article on RedState, one of the most trusted conservative news outlets in America. His interview was done to protect the integrity of the RedState publication brand while also ensuring its audiences’ confidence in their reporting; in addition, his vetting would ensure their audiences were not sending funds to an organization (The Foundation) under any false pretenses or deception.
- The RedState journalist performed all necessary work to verify my story, including locating the court documents that proved my 2010 case was dismissed and charges completely dropped; in addition, he located articles that contained statements from my attorney, who confirmed my innocence and indicated that this case was one in which a student had abused his teacher (me).
- When RedState published the article, The Foundation received significant donations and national awareness to continue our mission of empowering single mothers with grocery blessings, business training, and educational resources on conservative politics. This media feature also opened the door for us to secure more media attention and donations from Twitter audiences, which helped fund our work for that year.
- Months after our first RedState feature, I asked the same RedState journalist for another feature that discussed our single mothers’ progress, to which he initially obliged. However, after a couple weeks of waiting, the article was not published. When I contacted this journalist to get an update, he informed me that the Editor at the time, Kira Davis, objected to him publishing another story featuring me and our work due to the nature of my 2010 case. He also informed me that he told the Editor about his investigation and the evidence he found that supported my story; yet he was still prevented from publishing the story. This marks the beginning of my awareness of Kira Davis's personal animosity towards me. Yet, given her extensive years as a "credible" journalist, I found it quite discriminatory and prejudicial that she did not apply the same journalistic integrity to my story that she gave to others (i.e. Donald Trump).
- Based on this knowledge, we can confirm that Kira Davis was well-aware of the truth of my story since 2020. Yet, for the last four years, she has continued using her place in conservative media to lie and defame me and The Foundation’s work from her massive public platform. As the former Editor of a major conservative news outlet (RedState), Kira Davis carries a high degree of influence among millions of Conservative readers. And with a national Twitter audience of 84,000+ followers, her audience comes to believe the stories, posts, and messages she publishes. Therefore, when she publishes posts blatantly calling me a sexual abuser of minors, her audience comes to believe it; and Kira Davis has done nothing to retract her statements or to apologize for her professional misconduct.
- Today, we have tweets to verify that Kira Davis has engaged in years-long online harassment, defamation, and threats against me, The Felecia Killings Foundation, and our work. On June 2, 2024, Kira Davis published two defamatory tweets, one of which included a blatant threat to me that another RedState journalist could and would (if given the right motivation) write a hit piece on me based on Davis’s ongoing lies and personal vendetta towards me. (See tweets below.) According to Georgia civil law, these tweets and Kira Davis’s ongoing harassments prove “willful malice, fraud, misconduct, and oppression which would raise the presumption of conscious indifference to consequence” towards The Foundation and me personally. Furthermore, we have substantial evidence proving Kira Davis has also violated Georgia criminal code 16-11-39.1 (a misdemeanor) for repeated online harassment, punishable by up to 1 year in jail or a $1,000 fine. Given the years-long emotional and financial damage, we will pursue this punishment to the fullest extent.
- In addition, we will also seek a permanent restraining order against Kira Davis to protect me, my daughter, and The Foundation from Kira Davis’s abuse, threats, and harassment. We believe Kira Davis must be punished according to the nature of the damages done to us, including a sizable compensation and other punitive damages. In the past, such slanderous statements (i.e. claiming I sexually abused minors) have led to threats against me and my 12-year-old daughter; in addition, such actions have negatively affected The Foundation’s reputation and income. And as a prominent conservative media personality, Kira Davis is well-aware of the dangers involved in slandering a person from the kind of position she holds in this conservative political space.
- The Foundation’s single mothers program has had to shut down our services due to depleted finances specifically geared towards this program. And we hold Kira Davis responsible for much of this financial loss due to her massively influential position in conservative media politics. As such, in 2024, we will seek punitive damages, compensatory damages, and criminal charges against Kira Davis, former Editor of RedState.
- Our forthcoming legal actions against Kira Davis should in no way be presumed as legal actions against RedState, the conservative publication. As of today, their reputation as a credible conservative news outlet remains steadfast. Their body of journalists is top tier in the conservative political space and continues to provide an exceptional service to the millions of Conservative readers so we remain well-informed. The Foundation and I are grateful to the few journalists who performed their due diligence to vet my story, my character, and The Foundation’s work prior to sharing our work with their national audience. Their reporting was instrumental in securing new small donors for our single mothers program from 2019-2020. We remain thankful.
- Notwithstanding, we hold Kira Davis responsible for emotional and financial damages accrued between 2020 and into 2024, and we will seek proper justice and protection from her years-long abuse, threats, and harassment while also seeking financial restitution for her personal actions in abusing her professional conservative media position to cause damage to The Foundation and to me personally. More details to come as we pursue these legal actions. Witnesses will be notified in the near future to corroborate our stories.
Since 2013, I have worked strenuously to rebuild my life and my career after winning my 2010 case. As such, The Foundation and I do not take online harassment, online threats, and cyberbullying lightly. And we will continue our efforts to protect what God has given us to empower the people He has brought our way.

June 7, 2024 Update
After publishing our official statement and sharing it with our Twitter audiences (who witnessed Kira Davis's cyberbullying, slander, and online abuse), the original 2019 RedState journalist, Jeff Charles, blocked me on Twitter.
This action only strengthens our case as he was the reporter who had full knowledge of my whole story. He is the original journalist who published the work we did with our women's ministry and single mothers program in RedState. And he is the journalist whom Kira Davis told not to run with our success story anymore, even after being told the truth.
While this "blocking" does not suggest any illegal actions on Jeff Charles's part, it does confirm what we have reported in the beginning of our original statement. We hold nothing against Jeff Charles and wish him well.
As we proceed accordingly, we will continue keeping our audiences updated on any and all progress.
In addition, we wish to inform our members that we fully plan to rebuild and relaunch My Beloved Women's Ministry in the near future. It is imperative that we establish these legal safeguards right now to prevent any future attempts made by other people in conservative media (or any prominent media source) who wish to destroy our work.
