Greetings Beloved,For the last few years, Twitter Class has grown rapidly from 300 Beloved scholars to 25K+ Beloveds. We've witnessed this increase because the primary topic of discussion has been Critical Race Theory.
You may recall my last lesson in which I told Conservatives they continue losing this fight because they don't know authentic American history. Then they don't present a competing ideology that gives communities CHOICES. As Sonnie Johnson pointed out, the base was given their own indoctrination called "Lost Cause" history. And last Saturday on Sonnie's Corner, she demonstrated how that fabricated history led to modern CRT American history. One may wonder, if both Sonnie and I are ripping into Conservatives right now, why are our platforms growing rapidly? And the answer is simple: Because Beloveds are TIRED of getting throat-punched in these ideological streets. They want choices when it comes to effective strategies for winning. And our better choice requires Beloveds to know authentic American history, not this white-washed version pushed by either side. The growth of our entire movement has not come without its challenges. Now more than ever, the conservative punditry class are working overtime to reclaim their power and influence over the entire base. But what tactics are they using to make this happen? I will tell you clearly: They are using White Fear to bring the base into full submission, and here's how. Conservatives have no stake in anything. They do not present viable solutions for communities so other American citizens fight alongside them to EXPAND conservatism. Again, Conservatives own nothing:
At every turn, Conservatives are confronted with a progressive force that seeks to squash their rights. And the only way the base responds is to use opposition instead of competition. In other words, they constantly run to Big Daddy Government (IN FEAR) to solve their problems, which in turns ENLARGES the government's power over American citizens. Jeff Charles, expressed this sentiment perfectly.

Black Women are Pushing Against Critical Race Theory ... Conservatives, Make Them Your Allies4/19/2022 Awhile ago, Twitter Class began slightly differently than usual.Instead of me ripping into the conservative camp with a fire lesson, a fellow Beloved tagged me in a comment, responding to this tweet below:
Early one morning, I conducted some research to learn more about gun violence in Black communities. The stats I encountered were alarming:
These stats simply tell the outcomes of larger issues, but too few are willing to address all the causes that lead to such destruction. On the Left, we have advocates pushing for more gun laws. They use data like the above to prove why increased gun sales are a direct correlation to gun violence. On the Right, we have strong 2A advocates who argue, "All gun control is racist." And being on this side, I know our activists not only teach why such laws directly harm communities, but they deliver safety training to teach community members how to stay armed and protected. But it isn't very often we hear the real stories of what's happening on-the-ground among the most vulnerable in these communities. We don't often hear about the victims and their families unless mainstream media highlight them. Even worse, we hear very little about the empowering work Black Americans are doing locally to address, confront, and conquer violence in their communities. Two weeks ago, I came across one such story. One of my Twitter Class Beloveds told me about a Black mother in Tennessee, Stacie, who is working locally to change the lives of youth. In 2015, her son was gunned down, and the criminal justice system could not provide any help to her because witnesses backed out of testifying against the gunman. The shooter was eventually released; and as this mother shared with me over the phone, he later made a rap song, bragging about the murder and beating the case. Can you imagine the type of pain a mother feels, knowing who killed her son and being unable to secure justice in his name? The heart-break. The betrayal. And to experience this in the freest nation of the world. Stacie's story is like that of many other Black mothers whose families are living in communities that experience such violence. But unlike what many conservative media outlets portray, these mothers aren't sitting down quietly, doing nothing about these atrocities. They're speaking up. They're protesting. They are leading movements locally to bring about the right change. But you won't see that, Beloved. And you know what I mean when I say this. Instead, you see how Conservatives behave when the infamous "black-on-black crime" tweets emerge from their favorite pundits' timelines. Conservatives resort to shameless name-calling. They berate the victims and their families. They tweet obscenities like "These folks are like wild animals, circus monkeys, and chimpanzees." And then they proceed to yell, "Nobody ever addresses black-on-black crime." Oh, how the ignorant love to boast in their ignorance. For years, we within the Conscious Conservative Movement have told thousands of our followers, "Black Americans are building. They are not destroying. They need our help to support their work." And I purposed to bring as much proof to the table to show you how it's being done. The reason Conservatives do not see Black Americans pushing against violence in their communities is because your pundits don't want you seeing it. Conservative media (like other outlets) are addicted to Black trauma. They love shouting the "Chicago crime stats" because it makes White Conservative weirdos feel superior in their ignorance. And let's not forget the other side in this critique. Progressive media withhold these stories because they love Black trauma as well! Oh, let a Black man be gunned down by a white officer, and BLM evangelists will QUICKLY show up to collect White Guilt donations. The exploitation happens on both sides, and caught in the middle are Black parents like Stacie, who must deal with this gross injustice while never receiving the type of attention her work needs so more youth can be empowered. Thank God, the Conscious Conservative Movement is here. We have developed our own Media Network, which is a communications conglomerate, bridging the gap between Black Americans and Beloved Conservatives. Since launching in 2019, we've reached millions online. And now with our team of content creators, Network professors, evangelists, and offline speakers, we are taking the empowering message nationwide. But we aren't simply focused on our work. We are also partnering with other organizations and movements to help them gain attention and traction for their works. Women like Stacie are on the front lines, creating community programs that directly help youth stop the violence using the arts. We're blessing women like Eliza Bleu, who is the only voice in this massive conservative movement bringing awareness of Black girls trapped in the human trafficking industry. And we will continue partnering with others each year so this nation comes to see the Kingdom of God at hand. I've shared this message for years, and I will repeat it here: In this hour, God is using the least of these to fulfill His plans and purposes. He will take even the hardest stories and show us how to use them to bring deliverance to others. When the Holy Spirit asked me to launch this virtual ministry in 2016, I had no idea the impact my story and voice would make on other women. But I am proving to them that no story is too scandalous or controversial for God to use. For this reason, I invest extensively in women like Stacie or Eliza, because their callings are unique and necessary to the social environments. But they aren't the only ones. You, Beloved, also have something to contribute to your community. Whether male or female, you have a gift and calling. You have an unction to do a work. Ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom regarding your purpose; and in due time, when you are ready to launch, The Felecia Killings Foundation will be here to support you. Today, make the choice to be different, to be empowering, to be "Solutionary." I guarantee, if we continue doing things God's way, we will get His results. Stay blessed, Beloved! When I was in middle school, Dad took me and the family to see Spike Lee's "Malcolm X," the film documenting Malcolm X's story and legacy. This was the first time I had ever heard about this Black icon; and yet I remember being fascinated with his redemption story.
This Black man emerged from the hard streets of Boston and New York to become a nationally-recognized voice for Black Empowerment. He was a street hustler, drug dealer, and overall juvenile "delinquent" with the brain power to influence the world. After serving time in prison, the Nation of Islam (NOI) introduced itself to Malcolm. Captivated by the empowering message, Malcolm converted to Islam and began renewing his mind based on their core principles. Malcolm's strong convictions coupled with his oratory abilities landed him a leading place within the Nation. And after serving prison time, he became a well-known Minister in the NOI. This summary is simply a basic one and does not adequately portray the immeasurable impact Malcolm X had on today's Black America. But I hope it inspires you even a little to explore more about his remarkable story. In my book, The Fifteen 20 Rise, I open a chapter with this to say about Malcolm X: "This may be surprising to most Conservatives, but my historical Black hero is Malcolm X. I tend to like heroes that are less popular and truer to their personal convictions. Malcolm X was a 'conservative prophet,' if you will. Now, by conservative, I mean it in the social and moral aspects. Malcolm's politics can't be contained under the Republican umbrella. But his empowering work, which focused on Black Economics and Empowerment, speak to our Conscious Black Conservative message today." As you may already know, Conscious Black Conservatism focuses on building social, political, and economic empires based on Kingdom principles. In contrast to Malcolm's religious teachings, I pull my insight from the Bible and the Holy Spirit. But certain principles remain universal, and for that reason, I can see conservatism in Malcolm's speeches and teachings. Since bringing his words to the conservative space, Beloveds have also learned to see conservatism in his story. Our Conscious Conservative philosophy encompasses redemption and the Ministry of Reconciliation, which declares we no longer look at each other according to man's perception. Instead, we look at people through the eyes of the Spirit. This is a teaching I emphasize heavily, because in this last hour, God will use the "least of these" to carry out His purpose. Malcolm X's story is a lot like what you see in today's Black Culture. To Conservatives, our rappers are the "degenerates" in the communities. The drug dealers are the cause for our communities' destruction. Single Black mothers are the reason our Black families are in peril. All these stereotypes you hear from Conservative media, yet none of them teach you to see us "through the eyes of the Spirit." You can't see the Malcolms in our Black men today because you've been told to disregard them altogether. You've been told to listen to the Candace Owens or the Brandon Tatums who tell you, "Black Culture is a joke" or "the majority of Black people are no good ... but I'm one of the good ones." These are the messages you receive; and for that reason, you can't see how our conservatism is like Malcolm. You can't see us building our communities, correcting the errors of our ancestors, changing the future for our children, or fostering wholesome conservatism in our Black way. You can't see how our conservatism is Malcolm when you're bombarded with talking points that have no basis in our Black Excellence or reality. And as a result, this puts you at war with fellow American citizens. When I coined the phrase, "My conservatism is Malcolm," I did so intentionally because I knew Malcolm X was like an "enemy" within the White Conservative space. I intentionally used his image because the best examples of conservatism's powerful impact comes from people whose stories are hard and controversial and scandalous. When you can see the principles working in the lives of such "degenerates," then you know the values work. And when the values work, you don't have to resort to talking points that pit you against Black Americans. And when you're not at war with Black Americans over stereotypes perpetrated by your media, you win an ally. And when you win an ally, you win on the battlefield of ideas. This is how you ought to see this political fight. Your war is not with the Malcolms in our communities. They are working. They are building. They are renewing their minds and strengthening their character for the betterment of our communities. Your war is with the godless ideologies that cause us to hate one another. And the only way you can successfully contend in this ideological struggle is when you see people through the eyes of the Spirit and compete intellectually based on the principles. This day, I am so proud to say, "My conservatism is Malcolm." I am proud to see more Conservatives removing the blinders and discovering the power of fellowship. I am proud to see more Beloveds contending for the faith while connecting with people on our core principles. This is the Movement. This is Revival. This is Reformation. And if we continue the work and merge the Culture with the Intellect, we will be the Renaissance. Stay blessed, Beloveds. Why Black Youth Literacy Remains a Fundamental Staple within the Conscious Conservative Movement4/5/2022 85% of Black youths lack proficiency in reading skills, according to National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), a sector of the U.S. Department of Education (source). |
