Helping Single Mothers Rebuild Their Lives & Create New Economic Opportunities
A Lesson on Narratives ...Over the years, I've taught Beloved Conservatives why relying on talking points to address social phenomena is dangerous to our outreach. Conservatives, by and large, rely on their media (like FOX News) to teach them about "Black Culture" or the "Black Family." They push narratives they find on platforms like Wikipedia (I laughed out loud when I wrote that source), which states, "As of 2015, at 77.3%, black Americans have the highest rate of non-marital births among native Americans." These data paint an image of Black men and women in the most negative light, because these numbers NEVER take into account the nuances Black communities have within our societies. On one hand, Conservatives observing these data come to believe Black men are completely absent from a Black child's life. On the other hand, Conservatives come to believe Black women are sexually deviant and want more children so they can collect more welfare checks. You can imagine how much fire I had to throw at the base for allowing progressive data and conservative media to make them believe such nonsense. And over time, through my daily teachings (and the collective work of fellow Black Conservative Influencers), Beloved Conservatives are finally rejecting the lies told to them. Progressive Data Lie & Conservative Media Perpetuate the LiesThe struggles facing Black families are often the same struggles facing other Americans. While the legacy of slavery, racism, and oppressive politics profoundly affected Black Americans more than others, nothing has been more damaging to our communities than progressive data. Inaccurate data shape narratives that can be used to sway the general population's attitude towards fellow Americans. Think how antagonistic Conservatives and Black Americans have been to each other over the years. One side sees the other as entirely racist; the other side sees fellow Americans as "slaves on a plantation" who love government assistance. Yet, both aren't addressing the narratives (and their lying prophets) who perpetuate stories that do NOT reflect the people. Within Black Communities, it's not uncommon for women to rely on the collective for support. If a husband is absent or a father incarcerated, the community works together to raise the children. When one parent is absent, an uncle, brother, spiritual leader, or godfather assumes a prominent role in the child's life. Before there was every government assistance, Black Americans had community and still do. It wasn't until progressive politics broke our structures, making way for economic destruction, which hurt our social empires. For those of us who are conscious of our history, we know it is impossible to separate thriving social structures from economic success. In other words, if our wealth is protected, we are at peace with building strong families based on the core, spiritual values that ensure our long-term success. Progressive data won't highlight these communal nuances and neither will conservative media. And that's why The Felecia Killings Foundation has taken charge in reclaiming our stories via our Conscious Conservative Media Network. At our core, Black Americans are conservative. We love our families. We love our men. But like everyone else, hardships erupt, which break our social structures. Even worse, government policies via progressive politics choke our economics. And when no other competing political force is present, these communities are left to suffer. Our Black Communities are Hungry for Solutions & Authentic Conservatism Can DeliverThe bridge between our social and economic structures is found in authentic conservatism. When more Black communities have competing political forces, they can choose options that best protect their growing wealth. Without question: One of the leading causes for divorce is a lack of finances. And if Black communities are struggling to keep their rising wealth -- because progressive politics continue dismantling their economics -- it becomes increasingly difficult to build strong families. Therefore, The Foundation will work within our Black communities (starting in Atlanta, GA), to bring that political competition. We will empower single mothers with spiritual and economic development. We will teach them how conservative politics protects their growing wealth. And we will work with them to restore (or begin anew) marriage relationships that help grow their social empire. With Beloved Donors like you, we can make this possible. Our KillingsVille Fundraising Initiative Continues! The Felecia Killings Foundation has taken charge in empowering single mothers in this new decade, proving how authentic conservatism works!
By delivering social, political, and economic empowerment using our training programs, KillingsVille and My Beloved Women's Ministry, we help low-income single mothers create opportunities for the future. Each month, we bless single mothers in our Network with funds for groceries. In addition, we provide them communal support, economic group coaching, and spiritual development through our communal living initiative. And we accomplish this thanks to our Beloved Givers who give towards our Annual KillingsVille Fundraising Initiative. In 2021, we are showing up in a big way to bless Black communities with authentic conservatism. For decades, these communities have only had one option available to them: progressivism. Many leaders wrapped "charity" and "social development" in this destructive ideology. And in this next round, we want to provide Black communities ideological options by proving authentic conservatism -- empowering the individual, equipping her to master good capitalism -- works! In doing so, we make it easier for these communities to support conservative candidates who will work in their best interests to protect their new economics. Partner with us today, and watch the Law of Sowing and Reaping work in your favor this year.
