Back in 2016, Felecia Killings made a risky decision to leave a tumultuous situation to create a better lifestyle for her and her daughter. She packed her limited belongings and moved to Sacramento, CA -- where she had no family, no car, no friends, no employment, and no housing.

With a couple thousand dollars in her account, she quickly found her resources depleting. And because public housing took so long to acquire, she thought of another method to secure a permanent home.

She turned to Craigslist and listed an ad in search of a room to rent in the local area. Within a couple hours, another mother responded to her ad, offering her 2 bedrooms and a private bathroom for $600/month in a brand new home.

​Felecia took the deal, moved in immediately, and began her new journey with her toddler.

Once she secured permanent housing, Felecia made the choice to homeschool her daughter; but this choice required she work from home as well. So, she set up her website, hopped on freelance writing platforms, and began promoting her editing and writing services to entrepreneurs. Without prior experience, she learned to market her services, which resulted in $100,000+ in revenue over a three-year period. This income enabled her to live freely while being a full-time mother and business owner.

​After introducing the concept to other women in Sacramento, Felecia convinced them to partake in this communal living arrangement. They combined their resources and used her brain power to help them start their own business or acquire new job positions. She worked directly with other women to help them publish their books and expand their virtual ministries. ​And because of the communal support, each woman grew spiritually, emotionally, and financially.
