"Democrats want to be the Party of the poor. In order to do that, they have to keep you poor. There is no better weapon in that endeavor than Marxism." - Sonnie JohnsonGreetings Beloved, Over the last couple of weeks, my teachings centered on #BreakingPoverty and rebuilding economic empires based on Kingdom principles. From these lessons, you learned about the power of the mind. You learned key principles for success, including developing a positive mental attitude, forming a definite purpose, and putting action behind your faith. But in this next lesson, I want to bring politics into this poverty discussion, because politics is a method we use to protect our growing wealth.
Sonnie Johnson, whom you may already know, accurately detailed this lesson's sentiment when she wrote, "Democrats want to be the Party of the poor. In order to do that, they have to keep you poor." She continued, "There is no better weapon in that endeavor than Marxism." In my recent book, Progressivism is NOT Charity, I gave a general history of Marxism in Black America and how it metastasized in other parts of the country after using Black men and women in its experiment. By convincing the public that capitalism is evil and personal ownership involves corruption, Marxism established itself as a "solution" to the poor people's problems. And yet, Black History proves Marxism to be a lie. When discussing history in Twitter Class, I pull from current events to help illustrate my points. For example, during the height of BLM's global rise, we watched as millions of dollars poured into that national organization, which preached a Marxist message. After generating "redistributed wealth," the people assumed it would be dispersed to their local chapters to get more work done on the ground. Of course, this did not happen. And we quickly witnessed more Black leaders complain about BLM's co-founders, who used millions to purchase mansions and other luxurious items, all the while telling people capitalism was the problem. Marxism's selling points require the people to see excess, concentrated wealth as something to loathe. In truth, however, Marxists love capitalism. They live it. They are brazen with their excess. Yet, in their minds, they are most deserving of this concentrated wealth while the masses must deal with whatever troubles come their way. Marxism has always been cancerous in Black communities. And it's why we urge Conservatives to be present to compete: because it will also knock on your doors. #BreakingPoverty requires we take a hard look at the politics we allow in our homes and essentially our communities. We must ask ourselves, "Are we voting for candidates who espouse political beliefs that will break our pockets? Are we voting for economic oppression while complaining to the oppressors as they economically oppress us? At what point do we stop repeating the cycle that keeps us in this bondage?" If Democrats insist on being the Party of the poor, then what happens when the people decide they no longer want to be poor? Who will the Democrats rule at that point? It's obvious, then, that if they are the Party to represent the poor, they must KEEP the people in that poverty state to maintain their dominance. And I am asking, "Is there not a cause to align with a political ideology that breaks poverty? And is there not a cause to show up in these areas to present a competing ideology so this cancer is removed?" These are questions I challenge you to consider today, Beloved. Until next time, be blessed. And as always, let's grow together!
