How to Prepare Yourself for Your Work of Ministry in the Social, Political, and Economic Space8/1/2022 Greetings Beloved,This week, our focus is on outreach and manifested leadership. One lesson I stress often to Beloveds, whether to this mailing list or in Twitter Class, is we all have a part or share in this great Kingdom work. There are no superstars here. And for the ones who appear to be the "celebrities" in these spaces, they have simply learned to own their minds. They took their ideas to the next level and branched out using the resources they had. They did not wait for other people to give them permission to be great. They envisioned success and put action back of their faith. As such, the Laws of Success went to work on their behalf. Within The Felecia Killings Foundation, I strive diligently to instill Faith and Action into every Beloved who connects with the work. I do this because I understand my purpose and my calling.
I understand, as do many of God's leaders, my role and position in time and space: "So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." In other words, my job is to equip you, Beloved, for YOUR work of service or ministry until we are all functioning maturely. To be made perfect in your calling requires a few steps:
These are just a few steps in the long process of manifesting your vision. Regardless under which category your service fits -- whether in the social, political, or economic spheres -- you must prepare yourself for YOUR work of ministry. You have something powerful to offer your community. You have a gift and talent, a calling and assignment that must be given to others in a spirit of excellence. There is something God anointed or empowered you to do that no one else can accomplish. Whatever that purpose is, manifest it starting now. Put action behind your faith. Purchase reading materials that help cultivate your vision. Listen to podcasts and broadcasts that inspire your resolve for success. Take ownership of your mind, lest someone else comes to claim it for themselves. Be diligent in your pursuits. Always remain humble, knowing pride comes before every fall. Keep watch over your words, for they have the power to create your worlds. Above all, love others as you love yourself. The hallmark of every true leader is his or her ability to walk boldly in one's calling while always remembering who is the Source of that great power. And as you learn to put forth action behind your faith, you will see the Laws of God working in your favor. Be blessed, Beloved. And as always, let's grow together!
