The Felecia Killings Foundation and My Beloved Women's Ministry are excited to announce our 1st Annual #BreakingPoverty Challenge, a 60-day challenge that helps women break the cycle of poverty through education and application.Poverty is more than the amount of dollars in one's bank account. Poverty begins as a state of mind, which must be renewed to think the thoughts of God. By developing a success-conscious mindset, women will discover new opportunities that help them step into long-term financial success.
Our #BreakingPoverty Challenge is a fun and exciting way to connect with other women online who have the same goals and ambition. Each day, Coach Felecia will publish new lessons related to success-consciousness, financial well-being, business development, and more to get women started on the right track. From there, we encourage all women participants to share their testimonies on Twitter, using #BreakingPoverty, to testify how they are breaking the cycle of poverty in their lives. These testimonies can be:
Every testimony will differ. Nevertheless, women will discover how much easier it is to break the cycle of poverty by taking steps each day to make it happen. At the end of our 60-Day Challenge, women will come together for our My Beloved Women's Virtual Summit on October 15, 2022 to share their testimonies LIVE and to enter to win our Scholarship Awards to advance their training. If you would like to participate in this empowering challenge, here's how to get started:
We can't wait to see what blessings come your way, Beloved, during this 60-day challenge. Be sure to spread the word with family members and friends. And as always, let's grow together!

Greetings Beloved,This week, our focus remains on effective outreach. And while I spend considerable time talking about making inroads with Black voters, I want to expand upon those teachings by showing you how to reach your family and friends.
In Twitter Class, I often teach the importance of political education, especially through storytelling. In addition, in lockstep with Sonnie Johnson's message, I urge Beloveds to practice fellowship with diverse Americans. Fellowship breaks down racial barriers, barriers Progressive government loves to uphold. But political fellowship can also be had among family members and friends when the messaging is presented in an empowering manner. Greetings Beloved,Happy Friday!
As we come to the close of another empowering week, here's a recap of our latest lessons:
I want to close this week with a brief teaching about capitalism, namely Conscious Conservative Capitalism, and why this discussion is an effective method for bridging the gap between Black Voters and conservative politics. Greetings Beloved,This week's look at Black Outreach forces us to consider how the conservative base, namely its leaders and pundits, fail to reach voters who possess the same conservative values we have.
For years now, I've addressed the ongoing need to improve conservative messaging. In the 4th edition of my book, The Fifteen 20 Rise, I provide a clear framework for effective Black Outreach based on research and best marketing practices. Since launching that work, every Conservative Candidate who applied the principles witnessed a significant increase in the number of Black voters supporting their message. Some time ago, I sat down with Devin Jones, the Founder and Chairman of South Side Republican Organization. During our interview, he shared how he implemented the strategies I taught in my book. He attested, no one can deny the results. And that's what I'm always after. Results. Greetings Beloved,This week, our focus has been on outreach, not simply related to politics, but in all areas requiring the empowering message.
You will notice, The Foundation teaches you how to get active in the social, political, and economic spheres. That means we aren't simply focused on conservative politics and how to make this a force in Black communities. It also means addressing topics that help our communities thrive in all areas. While one voice can carry the message, nothing compares to watching millions of voices bring the same empowering word, even if done in their particular way. Greetings Beloved,This week on Twitter, we witnessed a firestorm of tweets between based Black Conservatives and mainstream White Conservatives. More specifically, the fued between Maj Toure and Matt Walsh sparked major conversations related to race, history, and current events.
The discussions began with a tweet Walsh wrote, describing European enslavement in Africa. His reactionary response, like all responses from Conservatives, was to demystify the Left's ongoing onslaught against White men today, which suggests White people are the only oppressors. Walsh's take, of course, fell short because too often, whenever Black Americans address chattel slavery in America, Conservatives pull out their "whataboutism" cards. How to Prepare Yourself for Your Work of Ministry in the Social, Political, and Economic Space8/1/2022 Greetings Beloved,This week, our focus is on outreach and manifested leadership.
One lesson I stress often to Beloveds, whether to this mailing list or in Twitter Class, is we all have a part or share in this great Kingdom work. There are no superstars here. And for the ones who appear to be the "celebrities" in these spaces, they have simply learned to own their minds. They took their ideas to the next level and branched out using the resources they had. They did not wait for other people to give them permission to be great. They envisioned success and put action back of their faith. As such, the Laws of Success went to work on their behalf. Greetings Beloved,This week has been especially empowering to parent leaders in Twitter Class, our Media Network, and the Beloved E-Mail List.

As we end another empowering week, I invite you to learn more about entering the homeschool wonderland with thousands of other parents who will participate in our newest program for girl creatives. To get you started, The Foundation has a FREE guide to share with you called Homeschool to the Rescue. How to Use Data and Scholarly Research to Effectively Sell School Choice to Black Families7/28/2022 Greetings Beloved,Since 2018, my online presence has focused on teaching Conservatives how to effectively sell conservatism to Black voters.
While current Right-wing pundits use racist talking points and stereotypes, I teach the base how to be more empowering so they get better results. More than that, I teach them how to stop the racist battering that gets them slapped in these political streets. One method for effectively selling conservatism is to use current data and scholarly research to inform new messaging. When it comes to irrefutable evidence, it's hard to contend with one's points. Greetings Beloved,During my latest episode of "How We Did It," I sat down with Demetrius Minor to discuss Black America and how conservatism can empower our communities ... if Conservatives show up!
In the interview, he mentioned an important point regarding Black Outreach on the basis of conservative politics and principles. We discussed Ron DeSantis's previous victory in Florida, one in which he garnered a significant number of votes from Black mothers on the basis of school choice. In The Fifteen 20 Rise, I discussed this same topic to prove to Conservatives that Black parents are equally invested in wholesome education for their children; and many will happily accept school choice as an option if presented with it. In a previous lesson, you learned about the sharp rise in homeschooling among Black families. In early 2020, roughly 3% of Black parents participated in this form of school choice. But by Fall 2020, more than 16% reported homeschooling their children. |
