My Beloved Women 8 | Teaching Women How to Set Their Minds on Higher Things as They Launch a Writing Ministry in 2021
Welcome to the 8th lesson in the My Beloved Women Blog Series.
I am Felecia Killings, Founder and CEO of The Felecia Killings Foundation. Our mission is to help women like you build social, political, and economic empires based on Kingdom principles. In addition, my purpose is to encourage you to use your gifts to build national platforms that will impact millions.
You, Beloved, have something to offer the world; and with my training, I will teach you how to manifest your greatness in this new decade.
In this next lesson, I begin a new series that dives deeply into the world of Writerpreneurship. Back in 2016, as I began working with Christian Authors, I taught them about shifting their mindsets so they learned how to bring their God-focused message to the masses.
By thinking as an entrepreneur who uses her writing as a communications method, she can turn her message into a powerful, profitable, life-changing writing ministry. And I want to bring this teaching to you, Beloved, as you seek to launch a book or online venture in 2021.
In this new lesson, I teach about the importance of holding fast to God's Word as the basis for your success. Unlike many coaches, I readily rely on spiritual laws and principles to guide my success. It's the reason my virtual ministry and online business have reached the national level. And I prove to my audience, clients, and scholars that when they do things God's way, they will get His results.
As you consider bringing your voice to the national forefront, it's crucial to have certain Scriptures that help lay the foundation for your work. So, in this teaching, I want to highlight 3 primary verses that will build confidence in you to push forward.
Now, let's get started.
Believe in Your Vision & Know You Have the Power to Manifest It | Genesis 1:26-28
God spoke: “Let us make human beings in our image, make them
When you read this passage, you learn how God willingly relinquished authority and power to man to control and manage the Earth. This meant it was man’s responsibility to cultivate and nourish it, not God’s. In essence, He had already done the work; now it was up to man to maintain it.
The principle I wish to highlight is God will give you an idea, something He desires to see you perform. This idea is likened unto the entire creation, which He entrusted to Adam and Eve.
Although God gives you this powerful vision, you must maintain it, cultivate it, and nourish it.
God declares, even from the beginning, we are blessed; we have the power to reproduce and multiply; we have the ability to prosper in what we put our hands to do.
This is enough revelation that ought to inspire you to do what God commanded man to do in the beginning: Take charge! Exercise dominion!
All it takes is one idea, one word from the Lord to ignite the drive and passion that is needed to carry out your writing ministry. No matter how small or large the organization, if God is with you, He will empower you for success.
I remember when I first began my online company. Initially, I wanted something that would help me earn some money, any money just to get me through my former situation. But once I realized this idea was something God gave me, that’s when I drew upon His wisdom to help cultivate this vision.
Once I had an understanding of what my God-given idea was, then it was up to me to cultivate and tend to it. If I did my part, then I would experience the manifestation of God’s blessing on my business.
You can take this same word and apply it to your own writing ministry.
Never Forget Who Grants You the Power to Get Success, Even as You Begin to Prosper | Deuteronomy 8:17-18
“If you start thinking to yourselves, “I did all this. And all by myself. I’m rich. It’s all mine!”—well, think again. Remember that God, your God, gave you the strength to produce all this wealth so as to confirm the covenant that he promised to your ancestors—as it is today.” (MSG)
This is by far one of the most important and sobering passages that I reference regarding business.
As your company and ministry grow — and they surely will — you may find it tempting to think it was somehow your abilities and your strength that caused its success.
No person has generated success without the help and assistance of others. This is especially true for Believers who own and operate their own company.
It is God who gives us the power to get wealth.
This power can demonstrate itself in many ways. For example, knowledge is one of the most powerful tools we have. When we are educated, we understand how to perform tasks that others cannot accomplish.
This power can also be demonstrated through the Wisdom of God, which we readily find in the Bible. Consider Solomon in his youth. As a young man, he did not ask the Lord for wealth and riches; but he did inquire for wisdom to rule His people (see 2 Chronicles 1:11).
In this instance, Solomon made the right choice. He asked the Lord to guide his ways. In like manner, we ought—as a necessity—to inquire of the Lord so He gives us wisdom concerning the matters related to our individual companies.
This is how we possess the power and ability to gain wealth; and in God’s Kingdom, there is no limit to what this wealth can look like. All we need to do is ask, and we shall receive.
My dependence upon the Lord regarding my online ministry is so great, especially because I entered into this industry without having any real knowledge of what will and will not work.
I do not go a day without petitioning the Holy Spirit concerning ideas on how to expand the company; and He never ceases to amaze me. In like manner, it is imperative that you keep the Holy Spirit in mind as you move through the process of starting your writing ministry, which will bless the masses.
The Holy Spirit is with You to Help You Fulfill Your Calling | Proverbs 16:3
“Put God in charge of your work,
So simple, yet so profound.
This passage works all the time!
As you continue to bring your business before the Lord, allow the Holy Spirit to take charge of your plans and purposes. I know for some people, giving away control is a tough thing to do. But who wouldn’t want to listen to what the Holy Spirit has to say, especially because He knows all things?
I have determined within The Felecia Killings Foundation to work in direct congruence with the Spirit of the Lord. At times, He will give me suggestions and ideas that I think are strange; yet, when I implement them, they prosper and succeed.
You see, even though I can’t see or understand how something will work out, my faith alone in the Lord brings all things together for my good.
So, remember to put the Lord in charge of your work. The promise is whatever you’ve planned to do, it will prosper and take place.
Now It's Your Turn to Act
As you make strides towards bringing your empowering message to millions, remember to do this service as unto the Lord. Not only will you be rewarded for it, but you will cause others to prosper in their spirit, soul, and body.
Until next time, Beloved, stay encouraged. I will continue this series on helping you build an online venture using the written and spoken word. If you would like to receive group empowerment, I invite you to join me and other women inside our newest network, My Beloved Women's Ministry.
And as always, let's grow together!

Her skills are remarkable and I highly recommend her for any project you may have, big or small. As a writing coach, I wanted to take my business to the next level.
