3 Ways Book Publishing Helps Conservative Leaders Establish Credibility and Authority in the Political Sphere

Very often, writers, especially new ones, fail to realize the power they possess when they become a published author.

The time and resources that go into such work demonstrate something profound.

They become an expert.

And anyone can manifest this greatness, including you, Beloved.

As you create a book that will educate, minister, entertain, or uplift your readers, you will inevitably become an expert to your audience.

According to merriam-webster.com, an expert is one who displays a specialized skill in something based on experience or training.

Whether you realize it or not, once you construct a book on a given topic, you inevitably become an authority figure on it.

And this can happen within the political space.

But what makes constructing a book so powerful in this respect?

It’s one’s ability to commit to a work in order to teach others about a matter.

To fully comprehend, it’s important I break down the terms “credibility” and “authority.”

• Credibility: the quality of being believable or worthy of trust (dictionary.com)
• Authority: the power to determine or otherwise settle issues; the right to control, command, or determine (dictionary.com)

For years, renowned leaders have understood the power of book publishing; and here are 3 ways you can establish credibility and authority in your business and in politics should you decide to publish.

1. As a published author, you carry authority to address an issue of importance to the masses. The challenges you see in business or politics can be solved when more people understand your solutions. For example, you know my presence is strong in the conservative space. I’ve been featured on independent political outlets and mainstream media like FOX News for several years now. These open doors allowed me to convey my empowering message to millions of Conservatives. But it all began when I wrote my first political book on effective Black Outreach: The Fifteen 20 Rise. Since that time, voters and politicians have sought my insight to help them present more effective messaging when courting Black voters. In addition, because I’ve proven my ideas work, they’ve trusted my strategic insight to help them secure political victories. That is the power of publishing your ideas in book format. And you can use this same medium to package your knowledge so you become a top-tier thought leader in your space.
2. As a published author, your ideas become the standards by which other people achieve success. When you present solution to readers, you establish authority on that topic. If you solve a specific problem that has massive appeal, the general market will view your ideas as the standards to achieve.
3. As a published author, your online resume and reputation are elevated. There is power in owning your story and using it to empower others. And the more you contribute valuable insight to the masses, the more the people will respect your name in the marketplace.
