How Intentional Dating Inspires Healthy Marriages & Strong Social Empires

​I come across tweets that inspire my discussions related to romance and relationships.

Within the Conscious Conservative Movement, we focus on politics a great deal, because Beloveds need to know how to position themselves to win on this ideological battlefield.

But our Movement isn't relegated to the political sphere.

We are also concerned with building strong social structures so there is less dependence on government to solve our communal problems.
One element that cannot be ignored is the building of strong marriages. While there are thousands of married couples within the Beloved Tribe, there are thousands more who are single and in the dating pool.

Naturally, before one can be married (or re-married), dating serves as the bridge between singleness and holy matrimony.

But too often, single people -- men and women -- struggle with dating, mostly because they aren't intentional with this element.

This morning in Twitter Class, I shared some inspiration with Beloveds. For example, I mentioned, "When dating, you should ask yourself, 'Is he or she my suitable?' Attraction may be great. Visuals may be wonderful. Personality, outstanding! But is this person my 'suitable'? You're not applying for a job when dating. You're searching for the one whom your soul adores."

In other words, Beloveds can't treat dating in the same manner the world does. Meeting certain criteria on a check list is fine for practical purposes. But men and women must ask themselves if the person they are dating is "suitable" for them. Here's what I mean.

In the beginning, God made Eve FROM Adam. He did not take from the dirt and re-create woman in the same way he did man.

Instead, he took from ADAM and made EVE. In other words, she was his suitable.

In like manner, when a man searches for a woman, he ought to find someone who is suitable or like him, a woman who willingly submits herself to his leadership. This woman will have his heart, and in turn, he will have her submission without fail.

Here's another lesson I shared with Twitter Class: "A lot of single people go into dating without considering the spiritual aspects. You should ask yourself, 'What will happen to my spirit if I sleep with this person or continue a relationship with this person?' Giving into loose temptation has eternal consequences."

In today's hour, engaging in loose sex with anyone is acceptable. The stigma is no longer around, and for this reason, many people find themselves in situations they would much rather avoid.

But Beloveds should ask themselves, "Is this behavior wholesome to my body, my mind, and my spirit? Will loose sex produce results that I can live with later?"

This message isn't one of condemnation, but rather designed to have you reflect on what's happening in your social life.

Each day, I see single women on Twitter, mentioning their desires for marriage. But they engage in daily activities that prevent their future husband from finding them easily. They give into temptation, hoping the temptation will result in long-lasting relationships. And this ought not be so.

Instead, women -- and I focus on women because they are a part of my core ministry -- must be intentional with dating and must search for their suitable mate, one whom their submission will adore.

If you follow me long enough, you will see how often I preach the values of submission. This act is not oppressive. Rather, submission is quiet power wrapped in fire love.

This power does not belong to every man, just as our bodies do not belong to just any man. As such, we must be intentional with whom we grant access to our space, because women should not give to another man what rightfully belongs to their future husbands.

On the flip side, men ought to continue developing their leadership. Women who have a submissive, loving mindset search for leaders. When a man finds the one whom his heart trusts (Proverbs 31:11), and that woman's desire is to willingly submit to him, marriage is inevitable. 

So, as we continue working towards doing things God's way, let's remember the importance of building social empires in this new decade. Relationships are important to the Holy Spirit.

And through marriage on earth, we can expand His Kingdom right now with people who will manifest His glory each day.
