Greetings Beloved,For today’s teaching, I want to inspire you to consider launching an online career as a method for boosting your income. Current data prove the virtual market is vast, and those who make themselves ready right now can secure new economic opportunities in the near future. As you consider this option for yourself and your social unit, I highly recommend working with an online business coach to get you on the right path. Now, without further delay, let’s jump into this teaching. The Power of Online Businesses and Virtual CareersBack in 2015, after leaving a tumultuous marriage, I found myself a newly single mother with very limited resources. As with most women, I tried securing new jobs in my field. But the search for quality work evaded me. Add to it, I had recently won a major case, which unfortunately left me in financial straits due to legal fees. As such, finding work proved much more stressful to me. After struggling with the traditional workforce, I decided to broaden my horizons. I soon discovered a new world of economic opportunities available to me, which came by way of the virtual market. Around that same time, I learned about online writing, blogging, content marketing, and more. Within a few weeks of submitting my resume and work samples to a start up educational company, I secured a freelance curriculum design contract, which paid me nearly the same amount of money I earned in the traditional workforce. At that point, I realized the power of the virtual market. And by setting up an online business (a website and blog), I secured other virtual contracts that gave me the financial freedom to do what I needed, even as a single mother. Today, Beloved, I want to introduce you to this virtual work field and share with you the top 17 online careers you can start right now. If you’re struggling to secure a new job or you want to advance your career, this lesson will show you how to get started so your economics always thrive. The Top 17 Online Careers Leaders Can Create Right Now to Earn $50,000+ Annually or MoreIn the virtual world, there are hundreds of career types for you to explore, even if you are new to online business or virtual careers. For the sake of this lesson, however, I will focus on opportunities that align best with women creatives. Career #1: Become a Self-Published AuthorIn the virtual economy, wisdom and knowledge are king. Your expertise in a given market will determine your pathway to success. But how you package that knowledge will be crucial. Self-publishing is now one of the most viable career options for women, because it positions you in the market as the go-to expert for a particular niche. For example, in the conservative political space, “Felecia Killings” is the #1 brand name when it comes to effective Black Outreach. Between 2018 - 2021, I self-published my political book series, The Conscious Conservative Book Collection, which provided Republicans top strategies for making inroads with Black voters. That book then translated to the launch of The Conscious Conservative Movement, which received national attention during the 2020 and 2022 elections. By publishing my ideas in the book and demonstrating how they worked in the “real world,” I forged myself as the #1 strategist for national and statewide conservative victories using effective Black Outreach. Now, whenever FOX News or any Republican outlet seeks knowledge about this niche, they call me. And that’s what self-publishing can do for you, too, Beloved. In the current market, depending on the knowledge and strategies you bring, you can earn more than $50,000/year by becoming a professional author. That income will come through speaking engagements, book sales, consultant services, freelance work, and more. To get started, you will need to invest in the right training. And if you’re looking for a coach to get you on that pathway, enroll today in my book-publishing course leaders, The Write Conservative. Career #2: Become a Book-Writing CoachIf you are a published author and you have skills sets in the traditional or self-publishing world, package that knowledge into a coaching program to sell to new or aspiring authors. For example, as a writing coach, my conservative clients go through an online program that teaches them how to construct and publish their first e-book. My package also includes content-editing services, which help them save money in the process. I charge a flat fee of $1500 for each new client. You can do something similar and build a long-standing career by working with ideal authors who will pay your fees as you help them launch their careers. Career #3: Become a Virtual Ministry LeaderSince the pandemic, more ministry leaders have taken to social media to bring their empowering message to the masses. And with the right system in place, these leaders can generate $50,000+ annually by using a donations-based business model and coupling it with their authorship. In my e-book series, Principles of Thought Leadership for Virtual Ministry Leaders Book Collection, I teach women leaders how to launch a successful online ministry using their story. As these leaders write and publish their new works, they offer their products to their online members in exchange for a donation of their choice. Career #4: Become a Finance BloggerWhen it comes to earning income online, discussing wealth-building strategies remains top of the chart. If you have knowledge of the financial industry, blog about it on your website, LinkedIn, Substack, Medium, and even Twitter. Share detailed information in long-form articles (3000+ words) that help readers accomplish a financial goal. You can monetize your blog by offering financial coaching services that generate $50,000+ a year in contracts. You can also position yourself as a keynote speaker in a specific niche, which will add to your economic empire. Career #5: Become a Tech BloggerThe world is changing because of technology. And the experts who best understand this field will always be in demand. If you’re looking to secure a new job in the tech field, demonstrate your expertise by becoming a tech blogger. Create and publish articles on LinkedIn, which will attract business leaders and recruiters looking for someone with your skill sets. The knowledge you produce in these articles should expand upon the experiences your present on your resume or cover letter. And because the vast majority of job hunters do the bare minimum to secure new positions, you can claim a spot at the top of the tech industry when you provide consistent, educational content for your niche. Career #6: Become a Legal BloggerMost businesses understand the power of content marketing, namely blogging, and how this source attracts quality leads. In the legal field, the same can also be said. Today, you can find law firms looking for bloggers to help construct content for their websites. Writing these pieces will require a level of knowledge and legal insight. So, if this career interests you, take the steps necessary to be most effective. On the Map Law Firm Marketing provides a detailed guide for lawyers or content creators with legal expertise to launch a successful career in this area of blogging. So, give it a try. Career #7: Become a Curriculum DesignerIf you are a former educator and have skill sets in developing curriculum, consider becoming a curriculum designer for an educational program. Visit Indeed.com, type in “curriculum writer” or “curriculum designer” in the keyword box, and explore remote positions based on your subject matter expertise. For example, “QBS Learning is a leader in the education content development space focused on creating formal and informal educational products for children. The company works with clients to create ‘innovative’ products that help kids learn and teachers teach.” The company searches for curriculum designers to help them provide the best-quality materials to their clients. And you can be that expert to deliver. Many other educational programs are also out there. And if you can’t secure a position within a company, consider designing your own curriculum and selling it to the market. For example, the homeschool industry is vastly growing. Today, parents are searching for quality curriculum that will meet their scholars’ demands. Position yourself as their expert based on your core subject matter, and even offer tutoring services to them to boost your income. Curriculum design is a great way to contribute to the learning industry, and you can earn $50,000+/year doing what you love when you know to whom your product will bless. Career #8: Become a Non-Profit FounderIf you have a desire to bless your community, and you know how to develop an idea that solves a social problem, consider becoming a non-profit founder. You can create an organization and use the virtual space as a method to generate income for your work. Thousands of people are eager to finance Founders whose mission aligns with their core beliefs. And many are willing to donate large contributions in exchange for tax deductions. Career #9: Become a Movement FounderIf you have an idea and desire to rally people behind a cause, consider launching a movement using social media. Your cause can also translate into establishing a non-profit organization, which generates donations to fund it. But you can also monetize your movement by selling brand merchandise such as hoodies, bags, t-shirts, and more. Career #13: Become an Online Business CoachBusiness coaching has become more popular over the years as more people search for information about establishing their own businesses. As a coach, you can provide that expertise by teaching a proven system of operations that helps your clients earn income by becoming online entrepreneurs. While I highly recommend online business coaching as a virtual career option, I want to caution you that this field is heavily saturated. Nevertheless, you can make your mark by establishing a solid list of repeat clients who will come to you for added insight. Career #14: Become a GhostwriterGhostwriting is the art of constructing books or other content on behalf of an author. When I first began my online career, I wrote small books for rising entrepreneurs. The pay was small compared to what I charge today. But it was the first time I realized I could generate income simply from writing. Effective communication is a skill set best learned through years of practice; and some people simply do not want to purchase the training to get their ideas to the market. As a result, they hire skilled ghostwriters or freelancers to create a product for them. And you can be one such writer. Career #15: Become a CopywriterAccording to Copyblogger.com, one of the leading blogs in this industry, “Copywriting is one of the most essential elements of effective online marketing. Copywriting is the art and science of strategically delivering words (whether written or spoken) that get people to take some form of action. Copywriters are some of the highest-paid writers in the world.” And that’s because copy sells. If you love writing and want to generate the most income from it, consider this online career. Subscribe to Copyblogger’s newsletter to receive FREE lessons on how to get started. Then from there, enroll in their program so you can launch a booming freelance copywriting career. Career #16: Become a Grant WriterAccording to U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics, “Grant writers research, draft, and submit proposals that help organizations or individuals receive grant funding.” This skill set is most useful for non-profit organizations; and if you have the desire to help your local community, this career pathway is for you. There are numerous resources available to get you started on this journey. And depending on your success in this area, you can earn at least $60,000+ annually. Career #17: Become a Business Development ManagerAccording to Indeed.com, “business development managers help grow businesses by finding new opportunities, researching leads, establishing relationships with potential clients and arranging appointments for sales executives.” Securing online jobs in this field will take time. You will be required to earn a college degree and to get some experience under your belt. But if you commit to this work, you can earn between $90,000 - $160,000 a year. Time to ActivateBeloved, now that you have better understanding of how to recession-proof your economic empire, take time to build your virtual career plans today.
